Just go to the parts get a pump that screws onto the quart containers and has a section of hose. View attachment 999655
Same pump here. Isn't fast due to the thick oil but works better than long hose on end of bottle using gravity method. You can add a longer hose for the gallon jugs.

Drove to Lowes to buy a replacement drain hose for the dishwasher, that leaked into the basement, ran down the wall and shorted out the power to the well pump.... Yeah... Fun afternoon. I heard the sparks coming out of the junction box while I was upstairs eating lunch... I think I'll spend a little more time vacuuming up all the nice dry pine shavings that are on the floor in my shop... That could have been really nasty...

What I didn't do with it, was spend $10 in fuel to drive into town to deposit a $0.60 refund cheque that my insurance company spent $1 to mail me..... (And I imagine it probably cost them $10 to go through the process of cutting that cheque). Dumbasses....

Installed 2 new Exide Edge batteries because one of my lead acids died.

X4 was Scottryana said.

I did mine for the first time (have always paid to have it done) a few weeks ago. It was way easier than I thought it would be. Then again, I asked how to do it BEFORE I tried doing it. Haha Took a couple of hours.

I changed the oil and did the front diff. MESS. I do not have a good way to refill the pumpkin, it took so long I couldn't do the t-case or the rear diff. What are the veteran 80 guys doing that I don't know about?

Had no idea this was an issue. I refill all gear oil using components the same way and I don't spill a drop and I just use the container the gear oil comes in.

No wheeling but got a chance to finish up the driver side rear control arm mount slider. I did the pass side a few weeks ago. I am hoping this will help with not destroying my rear driveshaft again. As you can see in the pic the first 6" or so of the driveshaft is vulnerable until the ledge gets to the rear control arms then it lifts off the DS.....IN a perfect situation with a nice square ledge. Also hoping these help me slide on and off rocks a bit easier too

Last yr I bent the s*** out of the DS on a ledge. I'm wheeling the same property next weekend so I will see how they work.

x2. Never spill a drop!
Back when I did it this way I usually spilled it on the floor due to prepping two or three bottles at a time. One time I knocked over a bottle and it got all over my shirt because I wasn't quick enough to crawl out from underneath before the runoff got me.

Finally finished up my sun shield project. My truck sits at my office quite a bit while I'm out of town and I wanted more than just the shield for the front windshield. Found where a guy had made his own for his motorhome and pretty much copied his idea.

Here is the link to the guy that did the writeup > http://roadtreklife.blogspot.com/2013/03/diy-reflectix-window-insulation.html
I found the same fabric the guy used at JoAnn's fabric. I think I got about 6 yards of it. I also put small super strong magnets around the edge of the front and middle row windows to help hold them in.

With all the covers installed its dark in the cruiser. Perfect for if I ever want or need to camp in there.

Also got my windshield fully tinted with Huper Optik C70 along with my front side windows done in C40. Can't even tell anything is on the windshield. Hopefully in the summer I'll feel the difference.

Went up a day early to an out of town client meeting to explore some new areas and take in a fireside dinner and sunset from the ridge line. Was still late to my mtg the next day lol

I had a tough weekend with my brake issue but my kids brightened the day with this picture.

Finished up beating my banged up TJM Aluminum bumper back in to submission. Looks ok. Better than before. Now to black out the grill...then a headlight upgrade...

Took the crusher out wheeling with a group of people. blew out my first tire on a rock ledge in a creek bed. got it right in the sidewall. I had a lot of fun though.

This is how a lot of the day went. haha

Put my bell housing on and flywheel on and then test fitted the engine to see where I need to cut :)
