I installed my first-ever speedi sleeve on the PTO output. Destroyed the related oil seal when removing it.
I also got my rebuilt 24V starter back. Amazing the number of parts that are still available.

Rob,
I used G&C Battery, Starter Alternator in Fredericksburg, VA.
It's a mom and pop shop; the son does all the real work.
He even salvaged what was left of the starter's denso label in case I was trying to stay all original.
He rebuilt my alternator back in June.

I got my rebuilt starter back in. Also the rebuilt alternator.
I blasted and painted most brackets on that right side of the block.
I re-plumbed my oil pressure sensor so that I now have an easy connection point for future mechanical gauge tubing.

Incredible humidity overwhelmed my compressor's dryer system; no painting bumper bits today.

I did install the new oil lines for the vacuum pump; thin one from Toyota, bigger one made up in town using original banjo.
Ceramic-coated turbo oil pipes also re-installed.

Well, not today, but recently went camping.... Love my RTT!

Slowly getting my pto winch back together. I used Teflon-bearing plumbers pipe dope on the roller bearing shims.
Also drilled and tapped for grease fittings on the drum and outer bronze bushing. The grease fittings are an idea I copied from folks on IH8MUD.

I decided to do a leak check before re-mounting anything else in the engine bay.
The 13BT ran well with no leaks. You can't tell that it is running in the photo.
Still waiting to get my power steering mechanisms back from rebuild shop.

Welded some steel onto my pto winch yoke to allow for a larger shear pin. Not much meat in its original form.

Yesterday I re-fitted the winch drum back on its shaft. Ran into a problem as the speedi sleeve I installed earlier prevented the drum from getting all the way to its needed position. I used a very sharp wood chisel to hack away and remove maybe 1/8" from the end of the sleeve.
I did not photo the somewhat mangled result: I will remember it forever. I hope the seal will still seal.
The drum must get as close to the winch drive housing as it can in order to fit the 2 clutch shaft keys into their slots. See pics.
