On once in a lifetime safari in Africa with the wife. She was curious if we would be in any land cruisers and her curiosity was confirmed.
Over the last week we have ridden in the RHD 70 series (don’t beat me up not knowing which model) chugging away for hundreds of miles. Once we got out of Narobi we have seen probably 100:1 Land cruisers to land rovers. Out of maybe 15 we have past a third of the rovers were broke down, all very old models.
Yesterday we passed one the LCs that looked to have sheared a u bolt in back and another with hood up, outside of that I would say for sure they have proven themselves in Kenya and the Serengeti.
Sure wish I could bring one home!
