Nah. What you need is a good set of chrome spinners. . .

I don't see it making a lot of difference with the metallic paint you used on the wheels, but judging by the amount of iron oxide on your frame, blinging the rims should wait at least until you've purple metal-flaked the rest of the truck.

Another no for the trim rings. Hubcaps are all the wheel bling you need for the stock steel wheels.

They don't look bad, But not on a cruiser. I say No.

Not a fan of the rings.

Looks like the no's have the lead. No on the rings for me as well.
Nice job on the wheels though.

Paint the wheels grey, and no rings.

I wonder if steelies with caps and a bead lock ring would look cool????

too much bling - a short poem

go with no chrome rings
they are too much bling

an overload of chrome looks like sh_t
and the chicks don't dig it

and when you are hub deep in the mud who really cares
if you have chrome rings down there

just another place to rot to me
let those stock steelies be free.....

teeth to the wind,
sno dawg

btw keep the hubcaps as they are a nice touch.......

I vote NO. However, if you decide to go with them, I say put them on and take it wheeling and then let the rocks and mud decide whether or not a Cruiser should have trim rings.:D

Looks like the nays win by a landslide.(I kinda expected that) So I guess there will be no rings on my 40. Thanks for your response.

Yeah, but I judged it on looks, not on " it's a Land Cruiser" cliche's

Sno Dawg - That was painful to read...keep the day job ;)

hanks40 - Thanks for putting it up to a vote, but in the end its your rig, do it the way YOU want it! Enjoy!
