My preference...no trim rings. Hubcaps are just the right amount of bling on these rigs.

I think they are over kill with the hub caps

Nah. What you need is a good set of chrome spinners. . .

I don't see it making a lot of difference with the metallic paint you used on the wheels, but judging by the amount of iron oxide on your frame, blinging the rims should wait at least until you've purple metal-flaked the rest of the truck.

Another no for the trim rings. Hubcaps are all the wheel bling you need for the stock steel wheels.

an overload of chrome looks like sh_t
and the chicks don't dig it

and when you are hub deep in the mud who really cares
if you have chrome rings down there

I vote NO. However, if you decide to go with them, I say put them on and take it wheeling and then let the rocks and mud decide whether or not a Cruiser should have trim rings.
