Re-spooled! My neighbor Miko was better at it than me. Nice job Mike!

Man that sure looks nice!

My jump seats that I refurbished last year, were dented up pretty bad on the seat bottoms. I wasn't actively looking to replace them, but a generous ONSC member gave me her seats, which were not dented (thanks Sarca!) so I decided to refurbish them and replace mine. Definitely not pro quality, but wire wheeled the rusty parts, treated with some rust paint, primed and painted pewter. Used my newish Cruiser Corps covers and here they are- no more badly dented bottoms!

That's great! Glad to help!

Great looking rig and encouraging build. I just read through it thanks for posting.

Installed Shane's extended spare tire mount. My old mount had cracked welds on the studs and they moved a lot. I wanted a pewter color anyway, longer studs help with my CCOT hi lift mount, and I wouldn't have to worry about getting the old studs welded. Shane had a group buy and problems solved!

You have the best friends!

Everything in the engine bay is done. Some switches and auxiliary fuse block left to go! Took it for a spin today to make sure timing and vacuum advance are good. WOW! What a difference the HEI dizzy makes! Much more power through every gear and much smoother idle. It feels like a new motor! Literally throws you back in the seat now. Can't wait to finish it up!

Painless harness et al, is done! Got it back home yesterday and it runs incredibly better with the HEI dizzy. Thanks to those who recommended that! List of items done: Entire harness installed (waterproof version)
Auxiliary blue sea fuse block installed in glove box
Battery shut off switch/handle installed
Changed from points dizzy to HEI dizzy with brand new coil
New spark plug wires
Converted to one wire alternator- got rid of pain in the rear voltage regulator!
Cleaned A LOT of wires and clutter from engine bay
Changed from ammeter to voltmeter
New turn signal switch and ignition switch
New starter and solenoid
New battery cables
New dome light with LED bulb
Cb mounted
