The size difference is unbelievable! I'm already in love with the idea of the kingpin being under the 60. I also decided to go with a 1 ton steering box. Does this seem like a dumb idea?It was disheartening for me to rip out the Toy front end, after spending so much time building / repairing / modifying. Ultimately though, you'll have a much stronger front end

Will it still do the full throw of a one ton?I haven't found a need to convert the steering box. No issues with mine thus far.
I'd suggest keeping your steering box, then reaming out the pitman arm to the 1 ton taper of your choice.
