This makes more sense now. Wasn't aware the Bestop door uppers didn't conform to the FST frame. I swear when I had mine 5 years ago they fit. Going to have to do some thinking on this.
 
Got any photos of standard, full length, and full length OEM bikini tops?

For full length do they utilize OEM bows or more like set up in post #14?

Guys, self serving request but something that would help Marshall I think, can y'all post pics of his tops installed. I'm definitely buying one but would love to see some......esp, say Capri blue with his grey soft top!:p

Wife might be less apprehensive all I have to show her is the black top/ green 40 posted earlier.

Marshall, Have you completed your soft top discussed on this thread page 7? I would like to see pictures of yours with zip out windows. What colors in new materials you mentioned?
 
It's in design right now. I've been swamped with work in the shop and haven't had the time to wrap my head around it. But it will be done in the next few weeks
 
I hope Marshall won't mind, here are some pictures of my top sitting on my capri blue 40. I went with Grey/Grey.

The material, look, durability, and comms with Marshall were all beyond expectations. I am just waiting on hardware from his vendor so I can get it snugged down.

Very happy and very impressed.

Trollhole, I sent a PM asking about price on Bimini top in tan PVC canvas? and estimated delivery time?
 
I was finally able to shoot some paint on the Aqualu half doors and bows and install the long awaited soft top and soft upper half doors. I'm very pleased with how everything turned out. Nice work Trollhole!

That looks really good! Did you alter the upper door frame to fit the contour of the b-pillar, or are you just running them as they were originally constructed?
If they are unaltered, how do they fit and seal?
 
The Bestop uppers are unaltered aside from being re-skinned by Trollhole. They seal fine and fit really tight against the B-pillar.
 
Good deal. That's good to know. I have kayline door tops and was thinking I'd have to alter the frame to match the contour of the b pillar. I guess I need to just try it out first.

  • 18oz Cotton Duck Canvas in Black, Tan, OD Green and Gray.

Looks great, really need the same thing on my Aqualu build with the same half doors but I will be making my own frames.
