The Aeropress was perfect for this past weekend's trip. The compact burr grinder worked flawlessly too. I was amazed at how easy the Aeropress was to clean. The design is very well thought out and using it is a breeze.
At home I use a standard French press, but it travels well too. Price is not bad for a SS double wall with 1L capacity.

EspressoForge in camp mode. + Buena Vista Roaster's Black Canyon Blend beans turned on the Mahlgut Grist MG-1 and pressed using the EF = Pure brown sugar & caramel (think: Snickers Bar) goodness in the cup.

Sent pm. Thanks. Also, unabashedly, I put together a group buy deal on a bunch of Mahlgut Grist MG-1 grinders in silver and black. I have a few grinders available from this deal and although they're not "cheap" the deal I was able to negotiate for this was better than buying direct. PM for details.

I feel so out of class in this thread. I thought I was the bomb with my eight o'clock Colombian blend in a french press. Then I thought I'd really hit the next level when I found out about Cameron's handcrafted breakfast blend that I discovered at the local Walmart. Well you don't know what you don't know I guess !!!!
Used to drink the Columbian blend faithfully for years until they changed it a couple years ago and called it Columbian Peaks, went to Coffee Bean direct via Amazon and rotate 5lb bags of Columbian Supremo, Italian Roast espresso, and French roast on subscribe and save.
I remember when Amazon used to sell books and DVD's. Never thought to even look for my coffee there. I might give that a shot, try the Camerons breakfast blend if you get a chance.
I'll definitely try that out because I go thru 5lbs a month and since its been a bit cold and my SS doesn't come till next week I'm going to be short.
