Everyone came away clean.... Wait lemme rephrase that.... It was a sloppy mess but Everyone escaped carnage barring a custom high clearance control arm and some Tupperware mods to the 100 and perhaps a battery on matts 60. Supposedly there was a new dent on Fort Knox but I couldn't find it LOL
Concord, NC, heading east off I85 from exit 58 approx 1pm on Friday, 4/4. I didn't even notice the FJC coming at me at I was trying to snap the 6X. The 6X seemed to have a mild lift and too small tires when I finally saw a profile of it during a turn. Looked really well maintained.
I also saw a light orange 1Gen 4Runner heading south on 85 at about 1245pm. No pics but I thought maybe John R was on the move in a new truck.

Spotted a sweet FJ62 in Weddington pulling into the Marathon gas station at the corner of Matthews-Weddington Rd and Antioch Church Rd. We exchanged waves. I was in my 40 and wanted so bad to stop and chat but was in a hurry. The 62 was gray with gray steelies and ARB bumper. Probably 2-3" lift and 33's...really clean. Club member?
Was it an older guy driving it?

No. Younger guy in his early 30's maybe. When I say gray steelies, they looked like old FJ40 Steelies except without the clips and they looked like maybe 16's. Beautiful rig!
Did you talk to him? What was he picking up?

He was at my house / southern pines / my house last week / two weekends. He spent the night in Hendersonville last night after finding that his radiator was partially blocked, causing it to run hot at highway speeds.

Nice looking dark blue? i think 100 series on i-77 yesterday going towards downtown CLT turning onto 485 around 1100am or so with winch on the front.... anyone here? Couldn't snap a pic as they were behind me, but looked good in the rear-view
He was at our Scott Clark show a few years ago.... I think he lives in Mathews, can't place the name though
His name is George Greeno. He's had that 62 for years, always built that way. I see it at toyota techs shop from time to time. He drives it daily to deliver flowers last I heard.
