I am all for a 70s rally or a JDM diesel rally of the south. Lets do it.

I let the wife drive the 100s knowing the weather would be bad here in Atl , so I drove Rojo...

It was fun picking up the kids early with ice handing all over the truck. Really a novelty here in the south.

Rojo drove great ! :steer:

^^ Yes I know its hard for anyone to understand how Ga. can be so messed up with only 2 inch of snow and ice.... but when we only see it once every 4 years , no one has any idea what to do .... including the people in charge of making the roads passable.

I was a little concerned that someone was going to crash into me but I just went really slow so most of those people just passed me and I dont have to get on the interstate so it was an easy drive.

Ok now my question.. Does anyone have any good ideas on better lighting on the inside dash ? I dont seem to have a dimmer for the dash lights and they are a little hard to see.

hard mod

Well I cant really call this a mod but... now I have something to hold my beer.

I also finally tested my winch and well it worked... so now I need to wheel this thing.... :steer:

I got it on Amazon and it is very well made was only 6.50.

Here is a link here

I have it held in place with heavy duty double sided tape so I will have to see how that holds up to summer heat.

That is the one glaring defect in the 74, mine anyway. No place to put my coffee cup.

After the 3rd or 4th time you scald your leg with hot coffee it quits hurting. :)

Who needs a cupholder when you have a Camelback wrapped in handwarmers bungee'd to the rollbar? 3 Litres of Peet's finest (a west coast thing).

Are you sure this is not a switch for the winch - the winch should not have constant power in case of a incident (God forbid)

I am not 100% sure , so I went out and twisted but left the key in and the truck started right up.... so . I will have to continue tomorrow with some more tests on the winch.. thx

Winched work also .. so now I really don't know what it does.. I will have to trace the wiring on the thing.
