Mad skilz I haz them.

I can come out first thing Friday. I took off the whole day. "First Thing" will likely be around 10 AM tho if OK.

My first goal is to watch and learn and help out. If that is all I get done, then that is OK!

Second goal would be to redo the knuckles on my front axel. I'm in on the grease w/ Kelly, and Erik and I made a deal on some seals :) I have some tall stands and I have "newb" tools like sockets etc (no special tools). I'll bring all I can think of to include my FSM.

I'm also hopefully dropping off my bumpers today or tomorrow for sandblasting - but not so much part of the wrenching weekend.

I will prolly just drive home that night if done, and come back and help on Sat. If not, I'll bring my tent and camping stuff just in case.

I'd like to get the bumpers over to Ameriguard ASAP this next week, unless the powder coating demo includes full sized bumpers (need a big fridge!) :)

I'll be able to come out for a while on sat. morn. I don't have anything particular I need to accomplish, maybe just help others get something done. I will also bring some tools along. Would like to get in on a front axle re-build so I know what to expect when I get into mine.

I pm'd everyone that responded the contact info address and directions.

I'll probably stop by to say hey. I've got nothing to work on at this point. Rumor from the machine shop is that I'll have a motor by then, but I'll not be holding my breath.

In case it is done, Erik, could you bring your clutch alignment tool and I'll get it from you there?

i'll add it to the list if i can find it.

Actually, I do have a PHH that I have had sitting around for about a year that I need to put on. Which is some thing that you might look into eventually doing on your new lx 2f.
And re-seal my rear axles, so I guess I do have a few things I could accomplish myself.

Anyone have a Warn M8K or M9K that could be brought to see how much space I have with the new bumper? The new front bumper is better off, but it sticks out further than we (wife) would like. :)

Yes, m8K but it's installed. I assume you're talking about the arb for the 62, they do look like they stick out a little far, but it's for better air circulation and protection, yeah. :D

Kelly, could I get info? Don't plan on me for food or camping, I have family coming in town, but I would like to try and stop by.

Anyone need any Xylene? Got a bunch left over from my dura-bak project.

I bought this "custom" bumper that Techtafab helped by making look better, but it sticks out a long ways and thinking about cutting it back, some. I think the guy made it for a FJ60, really.

The alternative is to sell it and go back with the ARB.

Let me clarify - guy who made the custom bumper was in CA - he had it on a 60 - it sticks out a long way - Duane put a new top/brushguard on it and it looks better, but still may be able to be cut back at the mounting brackets IF a winch will still fit. Thanks :)

Talked with Soonerfan, and he is asking what meat to cook?

I have a turkey in my freezer to cook up and maybe find some ribs. Anybody have other meats to add or ideas of what to purchase.

if you are talking about the pinion on a 80', i noticed this needs a puller that is really skinny. I have a base to make this puller, but don't have one now. We can probably fab up something unless anyone has this puller already.

I plan on brewing the beer on Saturday unless anyone specifically wants to see this and I can plan accordingly. If you like hops, the smell is awesome.

puller for the seal? why not just drive a screw into it and it'll pull itself.?

Why do they keep making SST when you have american ingenuity like that?

Amanda said there is a rump roast in the freezer at the house I can bring if that is any good for smoking? If not, what would be good to bring? She said she'll pick something up at the store this week.
