Absolutely, Sage can come blast it in my driveway any not rainy - not so windy day in the next week. I called the blaster, so I will let you know what he says. Because the blaster is doing my trailer, it would be sweet to see if he could give us a package deal. Heck, if I had time, I would pull out my front axle too.

Sounds like about $75 to $100 to blast the frame. He can do it next week. All I need to do this weekend is to pull the wood of my trailer and get it prepped to go, slap the frame on there.... The guy is about 10 miles from my place, so should be perfect. Anybody have other stuff to add to this blasting? I may bring him my hood and doors for the 68' just to get them done.

I talked to Sage, he gave the go ahead to blast frame. Said to let him know if you need help to come out and load up or anything.

Plates are the only thing I need blasted. Do you want me to bring those out to go to blasters?

I'll wait for second go round i do have stuff to be blasted.. is he only using sand? or is he able to do media?

My understanding is that no-one uses sand anymore - EPA thing about silica. It would be some sort of media. Black beauty or something.

On plates, What plates are you talking about? How big? No need to drive out if we can transport those via the "Jenn express" -- so you don't have to drive over here? If they are small, you can just blast them on the side of my garage or in the beadblast cabinet.

Those we will do with glass in the bead blast cabinet.

They can warp with the force of the big guns...

Yes...blast the sucker! I gave Erik a blaster cabinet that plates could be done in...and I gave him silica to use. So...just noticing the links to projects. Guess I gotta figure that out now. Dang!

4UnlawflCrzrKnwledge = best board name ever!

2fpower: I need to blast some bumpers! Techtafab is almost done - so excited! Don't want to make things too crazy, though. Glad to jump in if it saves total costs and not too much trouble. I can drive them to the blaster w/ you in back of LC. I may only need to do the painted one (front). Going to go with Ameriguard on them after.

Can you drop them off at my house sometime this week or over the weekend. I plan to take stuff to the blaster on Tuesday, one week from today.

Wish my frame was ready for the blasters. Gotta sell a house before I can begin landcruiser project #2 which used to be #1.

Definitely. I hope to pick up the bumpers from Techtafab Friday or Saturday. I'll PM you for directions if OK? :) Maybe our grease will be in! :)

If you are headed down to duane's I may ask you to stop by the used appliance / commercial place on the south side of the road, just off the highway past the convienance store and get me a contact phone number for that place. I am looking for a upright commercial frig/freezer as a base for my powdercoat oven.

Alright --- We are 7 days out....

<< ROLL CALL >>
If you plan to come, give us a headcount and list out potential projects -- if you need any specific tools list them out.

In case of rain, I will have slots for 4 vehicles.

I'm a solid maybe, at about 50%...want to, just gonna have the chips line up over next week.
Going to get the new 1984 4Runner tomorrow, some of the "maybe" hangs on what happens with that.
