we will have parts washer there and I will have spare seals and a spare kit there if one does not show up. i recommend ordering marlin inner seals. SST will be there and knowdledge course i cant spell it.

kelly. edit your first post with a list of what people are wanting to accomplish so we can organize accordingly.

Club members participating post up what you want to accomplish or if your labor and help.

kelly do you have a power washer?

There is room, and we will have a parts cleaner too. Order your parts up. Kurt at cruiseroutfitters is great to deal with and should have all the parts.

Also, for those who have not been exposed to home powdercoating, we will have an instructional display of this awesome, quick way to protect your parts.

Sounds good -- we can do it!

The more I read about what's happening that weekend, the more PO'd I get that we won't be in town. Sounds like a great learning experience....I will keep my eyes peeled for the next one.

THinking i might be bringing an fj45 firewall for a conversion to the newer booster and pedal assembly. should provide entertainment.

Anybody ever do electrolysis for rust removal? Teachers wanted!

um i thought that was used to remove hair? you need some manscaping or something?

List thus far that i know of..
Knuckle rebuilds fixing leaking seals etc.. I will have spare shims, bearings, seals etc. I will need to be reinbursed for bigger items i deem replaceable. (if you read into that i donate a lot but sometimes need to replenish the stock so I can continue) i will also have SST, FSM, big caliper, hub socket, fish scale etc and knowledge. I'd like to walk ONE person willing to take the lead on knuckles thru it so that person can be point person for the rest of the crew for the weekend. Whomever is accepting the lead on this post up and I will provide the list or you can search eariler in kelly's thread for what I recommend. His went pretty smooth when he came over. FOr those driving the rigs over and doing the conversion need to know if your swapping rotors as well, if they're bad this is the time. I might have a couple spare rotors to bring as well.. Problem is I don't want to bring my garage with me I want to work!

FJ45 Firewall conversion- Me.. Converting fire wall to new style with correct throw of pedals.
ROb i have one more set of pedals but not a spare firewall, tho one might be found if your interested.
Possible 45 filler hole removal for shoulder belt acceptance project. OR for hoop acceptance for shoulder belts. Firewall swap is most important part of the weekend for me.

NOt sure what Kelly has planned or others.. I know there was mention of powder coating demonstrations.

Colin is looking to start on a bumper project. Colin and I will discuss tonight the details on that project and what his goals for a finished project are. Rear bumpers can be pretty extensive so if anyone is interested in doing one either do a lot of research or start your thread now. I'd rather not bring the tubing bender but if we need it we can arrange.. Either Rob or myself can bring one or I can just grab dies? and rob can bring his etc.

My goal and i'll discuss this with kelly is we have to delegate leaders in certain sections.. Otherwise NOTHING will get done.. Gotta keep the group moving forward.. and get the projects done.

Kelly if we need I can bring my welder also. I did dial down to .023 wire or something small recently cause i thought my next thing was bodywork.

I'm not going to be doing much with the bumper unless there is no one elses rig needing some help. Was just going to blast a couple of holes in the main tube for lights and the receiver hitch, then I can weld everything up another time, as well as bend up the tube for the swing out, so I don't need a bender.

The powdercoating demo is also my deal, just a couple of license plates.

Got Soonerfan lined up to bring his 40 over for a front end alignment and he will bring over his smoker to cook up some food. Donations will be taken to cover the meat.

My MIG is a hobart handler 220 power. It does great with sheet metal, but if you want to bring yours over we can run it also. You've seen the shop, there is room.

I am going to pull out the two stalled projects, so there should be plenty of room to work inside.

I am fine leading the knuckle rebuilds as I will be doing one. Erik- do you want to bring the one you have so we can teach on the bench? Also, I do have a press so we can press out the studs, and have extra rotors too like you laying around.

I want to get my 40 running, so likely work on wiring and stuff on it Friday and Saturday we can do the knuckles.

I'm in the process of ordering the rebuild kit for the FJ62 from Kurt at CO. Not sure if his kits include the wipers (can't tell by looking at the little pictures) - so I sent him a note.

I also have a movie of a rebuild from a board member, but I didn't stay at a holiday inn, so need to follow someone's lead.

Like I said, I can also just watch as I may be able to get by to the next time we get together.

My rotors were just done by PO and look pretty good to me.

I'm looking forward to giving some $$ for BBQ!

I will also try to get some time off on Friday.

PS: There is a chance my LC won't be done at Techtafab's - - if so I'll just ride the scooter up to Shawnee or drive the Accord and watch - or maybe grab it for a few days and take it back out. Should know more next week!

Cheffy, have an extra firewall at the house so hold onto that one. I might need bits off it.

WeeJub I have spare wipers and kurts kit comes with them, it's the inner seals that you want upgraded to Marlins inner seal..

Kelly, I can bring a spare 40 axle and knuckles if you want. You keeping a list colin?

tube

If you bring the tubing bender we might need to start on thursday or run through Sunday..... I really want to quickly bend a set of tube doors for the 40. What size/ thickness pipe should I use for this project anyway with your bender? Here is kind of what I want to do....

Those are badass - I want 4 for a FJ62, lol.

you don't need doors to drive, start or license a truck.. therefore you will not get the bender until you get your truck running.. You will simply have to schedule a second weekend later in the year to meet that need. You said you were interested in getting your truck running.. Running, stopping, steering.. Might take all weekend.

You tell me when the next batch of home brew is goinga and ready and i have a truck running then we can bend you some doors.

OH and I would recommend using a gusset that incorporates the beer bottle opener if your going to do it correctly. COMEON.. Slackers.
