That's a bummer to hear High Angle Driveline is not winning it these days. Before his shop burned down Jesse bought a Mazak he didn't know how to run. He found I had the same machine and i spent a lot of time on the phone getting him up and running parts on it. He seemed like a real good guy, but havent talked to him since he got the new shop finished. Hopefully he straightens his sh1t out. I might have his cell # still if you need it.
My woes with HAD aren't something i want to derail this thread with and i have all the contact details (thank you for the offer, though). Point is more that he was a highly respected vendor that seems to have slipped and our opinion of a vendor can change with time.

I'm just boggled at the hate when we have another vendor stepping up and doing what we were asking for a dozen pages ago on this thread.

Lol

Lol... So picking up these products and keeping them on the market isn't enough? DVS should sacrifice their profitability to support a situation that has nothing to do with them? You sound like the federal government.

DVS have been a phenomenal group to work with. They have been responsive, shipped promptly, offered sound advice and helped me though some ordering kerfuffles. I have their parts on both of my trucks and don't hesitate to share my experiences with others.

The conspiracy posts about posting who had been a good vendor - that all changes with time. I've personally never been burned by WE, and until this thread i had no idea all of this was going on. The post is from 6 months ago ... And if you scroll through you'll see me saying High Angle Driveline is great, that's before i paid for a custom shaft 6 months ago that i haven't received. I obviously wouldn't post the same review today. Our perceptions of our retail experiences changes with time and DVS has the same right to evolve their opinion as the rest of us.

@Delta VS thank you for stepping in and filling the void. I look forward to buying things from you that I'd wanted from WE for over a year that were never in stock.

DVS can do whatever they want and I'm sure they're a fine company but don't BS me and tell me it's for the "community". Vendors don't do us favors by making money from us, enough of that garbage.

"LOL"

Your own words:

"Joey has had input but more of an agreement with the machine shop he used."

Also "innocent until proven guilty" has nothing to do with a civil suit.

I get it business is business but I'm sure even you'll admit that it's a bit of a sticky situation to be selling these products again to guys who have already paid for them and never received them. If you want to do some good instead of just looking like someone swooping in to take advantage of the situation I would suggest offering anyone who had an unfulfilled order placed the same item at cost price. Not my place to tell you what to do or how to run your business but if you're trying to claim the bottom line is something for the "community"........just saying, good luck either way.

The vast majority of people screwed were turbo pre-orders.

When Pelfrey went out and BAMF bought their assets they sold the inventory at a discounted rate to folks who got screwed but they still had to rebuy what they effectively already paid for. BAMF isn’t a charity and neither is Delta but the difference is that Pelfrey had actual inventory while I don’t think Wits End had anything.

Sure about that? There's 47 pages of bad Wits End experiences in just this thread (of several Wits End bad threads) and I sure recall reading a ton of "I had to file a chargeback" posts.
Definitely, even then it’s still a minority of people. It’s just 47 pages of the same people complaining. As other have said many people didn’t even know there was an issue until this thread.

It's FAR more than turbo preorders.
Look into and QPM orders and every other damn thing he seemed unable to deliver.

Accept that some of us know intimately more about this situation than you Joe...

Oh sweet child..

I am someone who has paid attention to Wits End issues since 2021 (examples: here , here and here). I have seen many posts in "Bad Sellers - Buyer Beware" by people who were screwed by over by Joey Romeo at Wits End. None of them were people with turbo pre-orders. The turbo-preorder people kept to the turbo-specific thread, until recently.

Wits End used peoples money to buy the “shop trucks” and to pay for personal expenses.

They essentially ran a ponzi, and kept it going for a few years, with the help of diehard Joey fans that refused to accept the truth.

OK, completely beside my point.

There is literally nothing you or anyone here can do about that from here. I get that people feel better pumping their chest on the internet but none of them are gaining any respect or support for it. Change your attitude and you may get support. I don’t have a dog in the fight but from my outside view, some of y’all are jerks and that’s equally hard to get behind.. If anything it’s a disservice to this post and credibility.

I have personally never provided a side and I have deliberately not disclosed my experience despite being added to this thread.

Anyways I’m out, y’all can continue the circle jerk while everyone else stops caring.

You back for the circle jerk?

Fellas, I recall a conspiracy many pages ago in the Archives... Is JoeCova actually his Joeyness...

on a different note, I was screwed out of a power steering cooler kit. So no, it was just not turbo purchasers...

can anyone here trace an IP address :flush:

Despite his passive aggressive defense of His Joeyness and unlikeable personality, I think we proved that Joe wasn't actually Joey....

No one said it was only turbo purchases. Geez you are really poor at reading.

Good luck tracing dynamic IPs through VPN. What a ****ing moron.

Never left, just eating my popcorn watching the trainwreck. I completely understand now how some of these fools got screwed by an idiot. I felt bad for them at first but now I see exactly what happened.

So it seems like most of the order issues were limited to pre-orders? Turbos, QPM, Trans Coolers, most of those took pre-orders in batches, how many were related to just regular orders?

Pre-orders has always been a red flag for me, have seen so many issues from other companies.

JoeCova, its rather bold of you to insult anyones intelligence given the extreme lack of awareness your dialogue indicates. Perhaps dont muddy the thread with your baiting; it comes off as a transparent attempt to distract from the message and those still seeking resolution. I can think of no good intentioned motivation one would have for that...

I won't be bullied out of a thread just because a few folks don't like what I have to say, I wasn't the one who started throwing them out. It's bold of anyone here to assume what I know and don't know either so maybe take a look around.

What's bold is trying to drag another vender (Delta) through the mud for trying to do the right thing and bring these products back to market....

y'all need jesus. or something.

Well it certainly wasn't just a vast majority of pre-order turbo people. Many people were screwed over, the turbo people just lost more cheddar so their voice was heard.

How much is a vast majority...? 70-90 %

You're right! I am a moron. I should have known you were using a VPN.

So everyone who got taken is a fool...

Not true, when I ordered the trans cooler kit, it showed in stock. More Joey scumness. I'm a moron so I'll make up a word.

If this is considered bullying, Colorado is definitely California 2.0
