You doing up an old church?

That’s an optimistic load for that truck;)

A bit more information on my Michigan adventure.

Drove it for 45 seconds. Love it. Can't wait to get my engine situation figured out. Truck drives tight and suspension must've been replaced at some point

Rolled down the back window and sat on the tailgate. Still waiting for appropriation of funds for motor replacement...

Badwater Death Valley, Aug 4, 6:15AM, 97° (forecast was for a peak of 121°, we didn't stay to find out):

Visited the lowest place in KA that you can drive to, Badwater Death Valley @ -282 feet, and the highest place in CA that you can drive to, Barcroft Station @ 12,470 feet, in one day via mostly dirt roads.

A/C failed on the drive out there, so 3 days in ~100° heat with no A/C. Just like old times!

Some other shots from the trip:

The body shop! Just back from dropping off the doors and fenders. The shop owner said "Oh, they're in great shape. We'll redo that and fix that, but yeah... these are better than I expected." They're pulling the flatbed frame off to better access the cab too. I'm kinda glad the body shop doesn't have a webcam... I'd waste all day checking in on it ;-)

Hey me too! Shame we didn’t bump into you. We were in Escalante doing some canyoneering
If I had seen that I would have remembered, and probably run you off the road to chat.
