Well, they're apparently not rusty and that's probably enough in itself as a reason to save. What's the story with them?
I would save both of them if I didn't have too many projects, I would take the truck if I have to choose.

It still has the door glass!?!?!?!? How bizarre. Next you'll tell me that the A/C still works too.
I'm so confused... how are both of those - the 4Runner and Xtra Cab - not savable. They look very solid. Wait... this is how it starts, isn't it?
Yes very worth it.
Tinkered on my 2nd gen crawler after sitting for a few years... then drove it 370 miles from storage to live with me again. Surprised A) it made it B) it cruised at 60-65 through the WV mountains and 3) it got 17mpg... same as when it was stock, on 33s, on 35s sas'd and now on 37s sas'd. It fits into apartment life about like I do
saving rally cars, 1 at a time at the Oregon Trail Rally (yes, that's a Domino's Pizza sign bolted to the roof of the car, and yes, it lights up

This one went wide on a turn and up an embankment before dropping into a ditch, registering a high G impact with the Rally Safe tracker. In the process, I believe they also pulled out one of the front half-shafts so it wasn't able to move under their own power + both front tires had a massive amount of toe-out. I flat towed them 5-6 miles to where their service crew was waiting and made sure everything was loaded up before heading to my next stage.

Not the most exciting picture, but after dealing with some cooling system issues, we're happy to say the long drive from CA to OK went without any issues. We stopped along the side of the road east of Taos in NM to stretch our legs.
That poor truck.
