You and me both... I'm kinda irritated right now, all this snow falling and the family is screwing around and not keeping a schedule and making last min travel changes... Anyhow it's eliminated all my free time to go play. And now I'm gonna be working on a 80series thats been sitting for 4+ years getting it ready for a delivery to CA in two weeks... I have lots of time but nothing really big enough to make a meaningful trip to the snow.

How's your back? Did you ever get around to installing your airlift bags?

Yeah got those in, gosh a while back, honestly I don't even remember when or even doing it -I guess the meds worked lol!

My back is OK I guess, its still sore every now and again but its worlds better

I ran them up and along the frame rails back to the receiver hitch. I would not try to run them upsidedown... I also used about a 6" section of rubber transmission hose to sheath the air line through the top plate so it won't rub or pinch the air line itself. Maybe over kill but yeah.

I don't even know if I'm going to install mine. Last time I pulled my trailer with the FJ springs it hardly sagged at all.

The GX is much heavier than the fjc

I already did my spring swap several months ago, remember I messaged you about your airlift bags then? You hadn't installed yours yet and I was lazy and never put mine in when I got rid of the air ride. I only trailer my ATV and I'm selling it, so I really won't tow anything now. I'll probably sell the airlift bags on CL.

It's nice the few times I have loaded the family up and gone on day trips or had a car full of people. But I hear ya if you never load it down or tow. I do enough towing (occasionally a double axle enclosed trailer) that it's more than worth it.

Well i gots me a new problem and its a rather big problem. Tonight after I got home and the back door/gate will not open. It's closed all the way, and unlocked, but when I grab the handle it will not release. Anyone else had this issue/problem?

I've had that happen with mine. My driveway is slanted and I park front end up. All the snow on top of my GX started to melt and must've went down in along the back door just above the spoiler. When it got cold again it froze shut. Had to take it to the local car wash and spray warm water in and around the jam for a bit to unfreeze it.

I thought that as well, because I have had that happen to me before, whrn i was skiiing. But had it running all day with the heat on, like literally all day, and had the BA k open several time. No rain or any precipitation... Get home and it won't open.

I had a bottle of sunscreen burst in the back door and ooze down and freeze the door shut lol

so does water get inside the rear door and freeze the locks? Or is it the seals that are freezing?
