Yes still run the fjc coils (f/r) with 2" spacer. The ride is fine. I know people complain about spacer lifts, but idk my original suspension had 130k miles on it and was replaced by 50k mile fjc stuff... So I honestly could not tell the difference. I don't know if it was the mileage factor or what. -I did almost always drive with the GX in sport mode, and I prefer the stiffer suspension over a soft one. The wife does not complain.

Hey boss. Real quick.
Source for your Cooper tires you got shipped to you?
Having a hard time finding the, online.
Taking notes on your build!
Likely will be following your lead in the coming months......

Well today it was one of those rainy grey fall days we often get here in the PNW and I was a little bored... So I thought what better opportunity to go out and work on electrical on the Lexus... I went out to the garage(mind you its full of "projects " and "stuff" or as my wife calls it, s***) and opened up the top of my tool box where I had my HID h3 kit I got back in January, but could never get to work in the Lexus. So I pick up one of the kits plugged it together and went over to a spare battery I have and touched the leads... Sure enough it lit right up. So it repeated with the other kit and same deal. So what was my issue back in January when I tried to get it to work then? Well no the fun begins, out into the rain to pull the fogs out and do some tinkering. After spending about 90sec pulling both lamps I quickly made the command decision that this was going to be a inside project. So back into the house I went with my two HID kits, and my fog lamps. After swearing (bribing with ice cream and movies) my kids to secrecy, I laid out my parts and tools on the kitchen table and went to work. Remembering what I had tried back in January I this time just reversed the plug with the ballast and quickly took the lamp outside and plugged it in and tested it... Sure enough it worked! Back inside I went, soaking wet as I forgot my jacket on the back of the chair... Now it was time to unpin the plug and swap the wires/pins in the plug itself to match and allow the plug clasps to function properly. This was a lot easier than I expected, and soon I had both lamps setup and ready. Then it was back out to the garage to get some wire loom and electrical tape to keep all the wires nice and tidy as they will be down in the lower fender wells and behind the front bumper... And I just like keeping things looking clean and semi professional. Anyhow looming everything and taping it up took just as long as doing everything else, but in the end it will be worth it. I got done just in time to clean up before the wife got home from work(she's a nurse in the OR so being on call is the name of the game).
I am super excited to have HIDs in the fogs now and have much better light out put than the halogen bulbs I has been using, not to mention the looks. They look so much more fitting with the HID low beams and LED highs. I'm super happy this was just a simple oversight on my end, and I was quickly able to make it work.

All of that to say that I finally installed my HIDs in my fogs... Why am I fighting sleep so hard?!

i ran into the same issue with hooking my flush mount dully lights in my front bumper to the factory fog light harness ... what seemed to be the correct way to connect the wires was wrong ... a lil frustrating when you've soldered the wires together ... but same fix swapped the wires around and it was an easy fix ...
Congrats on the new lights ... Im a geek for lights and love my HIDs ... everyone on the road hates them bc they always flash their lights at me but ... I do adore them :)

Are they aimed correctly? Improperly aimed HIDs can be dangerous to oncoming traffic.

Yeah I have HIDs for lows and no one ever flashes me... (Kinda wish cute chicks would). But I had to adjust my lights, even before did the upgrade, I had people flashing their lights at me. It's so much better now that they are adjusted correctly.
