I guess that's my question. Can a small dealer like Brad afford to sell a tire at the same discounts the bigger stores like Discount Tire Direct can and still make a profit doing so. I realize that it's a give and take, and that we as LLK members should support our members with business while at the same time members with businesses should help out LLK members but some times money is the bottom line on both sides of the coin.
Keep in mind, Brad is not a tire shop. He is an electronics / car audio shop. I think he did whatever was needed to become a dealer to get better pricing on tires (for himself) than he could get elsewhere. I could be wrong but as Erick said, it doesn't hurt to ask. For all I know, he will sell them to you at his cost.
