Yeah, I know but it just felt good to say it. I can't wait to check them out so I can justify the $1500 in tires I am going to spend.

I played it smart and found the sketchest most shady site with cheap prices on the tires. Than I messaged tire discount direct and asked for price match. Walked out saving 60 a tire.

ordered a CB

With discount tire, if you mention fj cruiser forums you get 50 bucks off the entire order.

Where did you find super cheap tires? I have looked for 315 Goodyear MTRs and the cheapest i can find is only a couple dollars cheaper than discount tire. 301 vs 310

Also, discount tire has a $100 dollar prepaid visa card offer right now when you buy 4 tires.

Layton, check with Sean in Houston. He can get pretty good prices on stuff. Not sure about tires, but it's worth asking. I find he's always ready to help someone out.

Does he get good deals on them and if so does it get passed along to the LLK? Those are the brands that carry the 285/75r17 that I will be purchasing plus I like their tires.

I have no idea about pricing but im sure he will get you the best deal possible while still paying bills

New links anyone?

I guess that's my question. Can a small dealer like Brad afford to sell a tire at the same discounts the bigger stores like Discount Tire Direct can and still make a profit doing so. I realize that it's a give and take, and that we as LLK members should support our members with business while at the same time members with businesses should help out LLK members but some times money is the bottom line on both sides of the coin.

No doubt discount tire direct or another larger chain will get you a damn good deal on tires because they sell so many. Never hurts to call brad and ask. Hes the best price on anything audio or electrical related ive seen around. As far as tires big named store might be your key. I know i got 5 kuhmo road venture mt's shipped to my house with the tpms rebuilds and life time replacement on all 5 for 1050.
