might want to fill up on the brake fluid - just sayin'

Ha I don't need no stinking brakes! mwhahahahaha hah! lol I'm gunna be changing the master and boster to a newer model mini truck cus of my disk brake conversion I don't think the original boster has enough ass to work the disk brake calipers I could be wrong tho and my booster may be bad but I had it rebuilt a couple of years ago

If any is intrested I'm putting rack and pinion steering on my 40 so if you want to see how I do it I have a tech thread thats gunna have a complete walk through on it. It's titled "help p/s conversion" to keep up with current info but I will be posting more here

I don't care how good the oil claims to be I would Never! Run it past 5000 on the engine and 40000-50000 in the tranny in my daily driver I use royal purple and it has a old 350 in it

I've run up to about 15000 between oil changes in my BMWs. Thats when they factory recommend. Never had any issues. Toyota recommends 10,000 with the new 0 weight synthetic.

I think you meant 10000.

yep 10,000

10K-12K is definitely doable with the higher quality synthetics. Royal Purple even states that their oil is good to 12K miles on their website.
I would still change my oil filter about every 5K miles or so if going to longer oil change intervals. While the oils have changed, the filters still get the same amount of crap in them.

if n ya insist on running oil dino or syn hi miles please change the filter mid way & top off you cruiser will thank U:)
