well assuming you want them on three seperate switches you just need to make the above circuit 3 times. Plan ahead though and you can use a single power wire to a distribution block or same with grounding.

Yeah that stuff is like Chinese to me...ill give a 2x2 if ya help me out.

I'd be happy to, no need for the 2x2 though. Why not put both on your rig? Not really adding anything difficulty wise.

Let me install mine over the next couple weeks and correct any hiccups or things I forgot then we can get together and knock out yours.

Ok sounds like a plan

Do i need to break out the soldering iron and heat shrink?

so, the fan clutch was loose on the 80 the other day - I rebuilt it by filling it with higher density silicone oil :wrench:

in the process, we also changed out the purportedly explosion-prone ring fan from the S/C kit to the much preferred winged/finned fan that was originally discovered in my 40 and subsequently deemed the ultimate shiznit :grinpimp:

and got all new belts from Toyota since a new Gates A/C belt from O'Reilly's did nothing to stop the horrible squeal - quiet now :D

it never ends

thought of yall on my way this work as I passed what I assume is an early 80s blaizer for sale near my house

Thats something you need to know how to know how to fix, so I would do it myself.

It's a sales pitch. Take it to a shop you trust.

My truggy is cooler than you.

How much play are you supposed to have in your front tires? With the front jacked up and your hands on 9 and 3 moving back and forth? I have at least and inch and a half of wiggle in both tires

Essentially, none.

From what i have read/been taught, grab the tire (while its off the ground) at 9-3. If there is any play, the tierods may be worn or the wheel bearings may be loose. Reason being is that the steering tierods push pull the wheel in that same direction.

To check and see if the wheel bearings are loose/worn, grab the wheel at 12-6 o'clock, and push pull. If there is movement, the wheel bearings should be inspected, could be worn bearings or your adjuster nuts could be loose.

I did a full bearing clean and repack on the front of the 100 since i was going to have everything apart anyways to replace the rotors and install new pads. Turned out that the bearings were in great shape and the grease looked sorta new, haha.

Claudia, i had definitely looked at doing a drain/fill with my 80 series fan clutch with the higher CST fluid. The part about heating the clutch on the stove in a pot of water always kind of freaked me out, haha. I hate cooking in a kitchen :)

no need to do the heating/cooking thing - as per 80 series tech, just fill with thicker fluid (appropriate to your model fan clutch), be done

it's not the temperature setting that gives out on these clutches, it's the fluid

Ah, i must have missed that you could just install new fluid and not have to remove the old fluid, or something along those lines that involved heating it up.

Tires/wheels installed. Now, just to find a 5th rock warrior wheel.
