Yes they are

you got a source for those ?

when I get my tailgate in on the 40, I'll lose my rear tire carrier (which holds the reverse light) and my current tail lights - what did you do for the rear blinkers ?

Almost wish I wouldn't have bought what Brown Santa just brought. That way I could pick up Renaldy's wheals ... Oh well :)

There all in one so stop tail and turn and I got all from aw direct. I can't find the post but I had all the part numbers and where to find them. They also offer 5 and 3/4 round for pre 73 guys

thanks for the info

I'm sure y'all tried PB butter or WD, tried hitting it with a big impact?
Also get a cheaper cheater bar and a 4-5' piece of like 3/4" iron pipe. I've gotten engine crank bolts that were torqued to 250ftlbs off that way

The nuts are not the problem. Those came off. The bolts will not back out.

They are sort of wedged into place. I think the front one might be stuck a little worse since the mount skids are welded. Tapping with a hammer on the bolts end does nothing to get the bolt to back out.

When we were doing it, Jason put the truck on jack stands and had the diff supported by the jack because that is how MT showed in a how-to on how to install them. I have never done it this way, and dont think it helps. Jason tried to do it yesterday by himself with the wheels still on the ground and had no luck either.

When we did mine we let the axle flex a little and sit on jack stands. Removed the rears first to take the load off then did the front.

oh I hate that. Will the bolt at least turn? It might be that it will turn but so does the spindle of the joint and that's where it might be stuck. What about using a c-clamp while having a nut on the end of the bolt and seeing if that will dislodge it?

Fixed my winch. Had to install a new drum and brake. Joel at engo also nice enough to upgrade me to the 12k motor. I ditched the wireless remote. I'm tired of it failing on me. Instead I hooked up the in cab controls. All is good now.

While I am glad to have my winch running again, I can see having to replace the solenoids in the near future on this thing. The box that holds the electronics is no where near watertight. Hence the parts inside are already rusting and corroding. Also many of the chromed parts of the winch are rusting. I think in the end a good cover would help some of this kind of thing.

I have to say that Joel is very accommodating at Engo. He's got the Customer Service thing down!

Ohhh, that makes more sense

Eat a bowl of wheaties and get a bigger hammer lol

The metal tech way you described is how I put my Rocktek armor on my rear links.

Will the bolts turn?

Maybe try an air hammer to vibrate knock it out some.

Keep it in park and rock the vehicle while you tap them out.

Rocking also works putting them back in!

You know what else works? Not breaking s***. BAaha who am I kidding
