I Simultaneously Restored / Refurbished a USA-spec & a NON-usa spec 24v Hazard Switch

There is indeed something to be said about the assembly line approach Henry Ford Pioneered :)

Got a new heart and drivetrain. All nice and tight before it left on a cross-country trek.

And when the door rolled up during delivery, this is what I saw...

Turned out the only damage was this front driveshaft strap/guard. Got lucky.

Got it loaded with a forklift into my truck (barely fit), taped all the openings, coated it with Oil Eater and took it to the car wash to pressure wash it before bringing it home.

Got it home and had a heck of a time getting it out of my tuck with a 1-ton cherry picker, but eventually got it. Now the first timer fun of getting it ready to put in.

I plan to reseal it, refresh it, and run it...hopefully!?!

A bunch:
Pulled the drive train.
Cut out and repaired the 4 lone rust spots on the tub and welded a bunch of unwanted holes.
VERY close to having all needed hardware pulled for plating. 30lbs plus.
Confirmed a wire harness rebuild with @Coolerman
Spinning those wheels while drying out the flooded (again) basement and brake line shop.
More fun than i'm allowed. :bang:

40 / 60 garage day. 3 valve jobs, a suspension tune up, inclinometer install, oil changes, s*** talking and sparks!

(1). Installed some vintage red hoses, (2) refurbished vintage FST mirror arms to a patina finish (still need to rust them a little more and then use rust converter) and (3). aged the Cruiser Corps hinge mirror arms using muriatic acid bath ((to remove plating) and salt, copper wire and hydrogen peroxide (to rust them). Will let rust settle for a bit ( it tends to be delicate for first few days) then will use rust converter ( Blackstar is my favorite) and paint the color of my rig and sand some of the paint off to reveal rust that has been blackened with rust converter. I use the hinge mirror arms because I rarely use my FST doors (which I recently restored)

Cut at the rear and worked forward through the spot welds. Unbolted the quarter at the pillar and coaxed it out with a pry bar.
