No place to work on it myself, so the Blue Mule went to IPOR for some work - prepping for the next African posting.

Finally decided to convert to PS - the wrecked shoulder helped make that decision, so FJ60 style PS. Then stainless steel 3" exhaust to replace the old lacey paint and rust pipe :D That should last the life of the truck. Tucked up above the skid nicely (sorry, no pic of that yet). And 6 new BFG MT KM2 30x9.5.

Finally started some painless and fun projects on my 40 - painted the lettering in all my knobs, replaced the little bulb that illuminates the light switch (my personal favorite), then added a security system. Rather than hiding an interrupt switch, I installed a collection of switches that all must be thrown in the correct order for spark. (tried to get pics but did not turn out - knobs look great)

Then my wife’s Sub needed new tie rods, idler arm, pitman arm...so much for painless projects

Love the size of that TOYOTA grill emblem.

Got a complete rear heater setup with all hoses, brackets, etc, for $60. Got a nice Con-ferr locking storage box for $20.....at the Swapmeet in Cherry Valley yesterday. Sold a few things too! Great event, great prices, great people, great rigs:

Id like to see the whole truck with those tires! M5driver.

Bought a battery charger so I could keep the thing on the road until I get a new voltage regulator. It's like an electric car, just charge and go! Maybe noisier than an electric...

Fiance bought me some nice custom plates "Ain't no jeep" without so many letters :clap:Got those put on. Anyone else enjoy having your cruiser called a heep as much as I do?

Trying to decide the next thing to fix up, may do the top while she's off, and would like to do some paint to cover up the primer grey that's on the tub. Would be nice if these torrential downpours stopped eventually! At least I have a bikini top now though :flipoff2:
Have been trying to source some stainless screws and bolts too.

Also ordered a 24v to 12v converter so I can finally install a radio!!! :bounce: paid $50 for one that was retailing at $260 from one of the cruiser places.

Got my steelies back from powder coat and my SS TSL skinnies mounted. Also got the fenders back from paint, and this week will have the OEM soft door frames, bib, tailgate and soft top bows back from paint too. The lexan came in and is getting cut Tues for the soft doors.
