I removed the Heepish quarter panel plates...Now to figure out what kind of top/rear doors this thing really should have...

well i did video...even going down LOL ... i have a few pictures

i'll post one up here and a few more in my build thread :)

it looks worse than it is...theres alot more room at the bottom before hitting the truck...i use a towel and rope around the winch cable...i forget the correct name of the knot that i use...but...it gets tighter when pulled...and that sucker did not budge...i had the Corporal hold the rope attached to the cable at the bottom as a precaution...and to yell "feet down" to slow down :)

it was kinda an early birthday/going away/young marines party

looking at the front bolt stake, felt a little play in it, was wondering if that was where my annoying vibration was coming form under load/ gas. I probably drive around tomorrow with he front driveline off to test.

Thanks for all the 411 Poser.

Tightened down the raking brake drum back plate as it was loose and rattling.

Spent half of Friday night and half of Saturday getting my rig ready to meet fellow mud members at a car show in Salem, OR. 91 4runner(mud member) came through in a major way and fixed my carb!!! I would drive the truck and it would start to die unless I kept it floored. Sometimes it wouldn't happen at all and then 10 minutes into a drive it would start. Apparently the PO had not done a good job in rebuilding the carb, the venturis were very loose. Needless to say I learned alot about the stock carb on our 40's. He can elaborate more on the issue...

91 4runner also helped me do some needed maintenance. Thanks to him, my truck is running great. We finally made it to Salem, car show was over but had a good time.
