Adjusted brakes, drums all around, replaced rubber brake lines in front, painted oem round mirror arms and backs, installing lower dash pads. Cussed a liitle adjusting front brakes

Welding the floor back in the Toygoata, picked up a set of used steelies and blasted and painted them for the '76, also replaced the TRE's on the '76, steers less like a boat now.

Started cleaning the garage to create space for some long overdue work

New bulb, new used switch, new used knob, wiring all over the place like a spilled bowl of spagetti from the 'Worst cook in America' show.

But tiz a beautiful thing.

Fixed an electrical gremlin with the wipers where they wouldn't work on high. Unstuck the blower motor in my rear heater. Did the dash knob restoration so you can read the labels. Fixed the slider release mechanism for the driver's seat. Lots of little things.

Sanded and painted front and rear heaters, flushed heater cores, restored front heater(i.e. foam, screws, bushings). Put coolant in it after replacing broken thermostat.

Installed new radiator, water hoses, flex fuel lines etc. New "custom" return fuel line. Placed the carb and working to get her back in action.

I'd like to read a step-by-step of the tinting process from someone who has done it. My 40 is the same color as yours and I'd like to line the interior. What did you use to tint the liner, where did you get the tint and what was the process?

Easy! I just did it. Add 2.5 oz of paint color to the bottle (get paint at auto body supply store) have them mix the color with no binders added use the paint code of your choice. When mixing you can go up to the 2.5 oz per bottle and I started with 2 oz then shook and compared the color to the truck. Add up to .5 more til you get a color you like. Once you like the color you know how much to add to the other 3 bottles so they are the same. Add hardner and shoot. This stuff is very nice and my 5 year old sprayed some. This is the easiest interior upgrade you can do! It took me 25 min to mix and shoot(I masked and prepped the day before)

replaced my broken knuckle this weekend. First time to tear into the axle and it was ALOT easier than i expected.

Got mine back from my body guy... I now have a great looking rear end! I also installed rear tail light guards, CCOT winch channel and my newly recovered front and jump seats.

Had a couple of friends help put the hardtop back on (doors are still off) and drove her. Next - drum brake work and maybe a cheap stereo.
