Dang! What was wrong with the LCAs? They are pricey, an with the right tools, you can swap bushings and ball joints I believe.
Mine were replaced by the PO at 100k. Toyota alignment bolts have a nasty habit of freezing inside the bushing. You can't align it. This is not a 200 only problem. On my truck I had a shop replace bushings. It ends up a wash on cost because you pay it back in labor.

Ok, a little more than a week, but recently: brakes all around (pads, rotors, shoes, calipers, lines, brake hardware, mounting bolts), 2724 rear springs, more front preload, eimkeith PCK, oil change, alignment, remove 10 lbs of mud from skids, lubed kings lower pivots.

Feeling good.

I see their location as "up near Canada" and that might be a factor. My LCAs are rusty and beat to hell. We have to deal with salted roads up North and that destroys steel. Probably not a thing in TX. Honestly, if I needed to do bushings, I'd consider a shiny new set of LCAs too.

Yea same. I need bushings and ball joints soon and just going to replace the whole arm and cam bolts. Not worth fighting the corrosion.

My ball joints have been leaking for several years. I tried removing the ball joints about a year and a half ago but nearly snapped a new ball joint press in half. It is a Vegas vehicle so no real corrosion.

From what I have read it is very hit or miss on being able to remove the ball joints. Some people have been able to easily get them out, others have failed with a 20K lb press.

I got the control arms from the Toyota sale last March for $230 ea so it wasn't worth messing with anymore.

For $230 an arm I'd pick up a set for the future as well lol.

Nipped and tucked to perfection. The amount of TLC in this rig shines through. She's a beaut!

Total trick of the light. It is pinstriped badly. Well used.

Unfortunately, I locked in Moab and Canada trips and can't get to Ft. Collins. Wish I could join you. Hopefully next year!

Not what have I done in my LC200 this week but what my wife did (or daughter maybe and wife is taking the heat) while I was out of town for work this week. Someone closed the garage door with the back hatch up. Somehow the only thing that broke was this little chrome trim below the right light on rear hatch. I can't seem to find it in parts diagrams. The LAND CRUISER trim piece can be bought separate and is shown in the rear door parts diagram. I'm fearing I'll have to buy a whole light assy. 2018 LC. Anyone with higher fidelity part searches can help me out maybe?

For OEM, it looks to me like it is only available with the light assembly 81581-60391.

But there are some covers available on ebay that you could use in conjunction with the old pieces to "repair" it maybe.
The link is for black ones, but I'd assume chrome could be found.

Hate to break it to you, but the only way to get that piece is to buy a new cruiser. I'll take the old one off your hands for you though :hillbilly:

2nd Row A/V Delete

I removed the A/V screens a long time ago and forgot about the holes because I never sit back there. We had some guests back there when we were in Zion last month and I felt bad. It was about the limits of my 3D design skills and my printers capabilities, but I got them covered up.

285/70/17 rubs a small amount on the front mud flats when backing on full lock. Not too worried.
