I really want these but I don't know if i can justify the price plus shipping. Thoughts? Did you order direct from escape gear or from equipt?

I might be wrong, but I thought that if you order the Equipt Escape Gear covers the shipping is free.
Edit: I have been thinking about getting a set so I decided to order some and it was free standard shipping. I got my National Luna fridge from them and had a problem with and fast and great customer service in solving it. They are a highly recommended vendor.

Ordering directly from Escape Gear has always been cheaper overall, but the typical consumer behavior around returns or issues/customer service is complicated with ordering directly, so make you order exactly what you want.

Forget about the solar, thats a bad to the bone bumper.
Not crazy about all the cutouts in front but the shape and fairings are super on point.
What that is?
I believe equipts is more expensive to cover shipping from escape gear, and if you buy directly from escape gear shipping is currently over $100 which sucks

That might be the case. Escape Gear orders bulk so you can get it faster and not have the long wait when ordering from South Africa direct. I like to support good vendors.

These just arrived from Australia… Will put them in today or tomorrow… This set was discounted as it’s an alternative remedy that addresses a low-level vulnerability on the Kaon shelf they were offering to send for free (a simpler fix is free).. These accomplish the same safeguard, while adding massive optional functionality…

Dobinsons IMS installed with OME UCAs. Supposed to be 1.4” up front (C59-540) and 1” in the rear (C59-559V) but I ended up getting about 2”/2.5”. Went in knowing it would probably be higher than advertised so no biggie.
I’m honestly surprised how firm, yet still plush this setup feels. Can’t wait to hit some trails!

Mine showed up on Saturday. Not sure when the weather will let me get them installed yet.
Same here. 5 weeks. Looking forward to seeing them installed Markuson! Does anyone have concern with the self tapping screws inferring with wiring or anything else behind the rear plastic panels? The 10mm bolt being the primary load bearing contact point will be fine but was concerned about how deep those self tappers go on the other side of the panel. I am having a dual battery installed this spring and will have the USB’s and 12V’s in the cup holders. Getting it done at slee with their cup holder install. Will be installing these panels after the dual battery is done.

I talked with Kaon via phone and according to the guy, and my order was the first one they’d sent related to the update so far. Thatwas severql weeks ago. It definitely took longer this time than the 3-4 days the shelf took. Delays were waiting for i termational release in Aus, and waiting for customs to get them to US postal.
