Hi! I'm happy with the drawer system- no drill, easy install. Smooth full length lockable bearing slides. Not a thing missing/wrong in the kit, shipped quickly and well documented instructions. Price is very competitive and it's an easy removal if I need the space. I probably won't use the sleeper function too much as I have the RTT, but it makes the LC work like an enclosed pickup with the flat cargo space once folded out. It's very robust- full length piano hinges on 13 ply birch.
Thanks.

Thanks! The rails are Budbuilt Rock Rails. Installation is fairly straightforward- took me 3-ish hours, taking my time and working solo. Here are some shots I took that show the side profile a little more clearly. I like that they are low profile, don't make the vehicle wider, and are really well built.

How are they for steps? I've been thinking of these ever since they were introduced, but I need something that's a functional step in addition to providing protection.

No direct experience with Budbuilt steps, but I know that the interface with the vehicle is the same as with their Rock Rails, so fitting should be about the same effort. They look pretty good on their website- and if they are built like the RockRails, they're a very precise fit and extremely stout. The Rails do not protrude far enough from the vehicle to act as steps.

Took a quick trip out to Little Finland with a couple Jeeps (31 to be exact, there was a 4Runner as well) Thought it would be a short day but turned into 8 hours of bouncing on really rough roads and trails. Really cool scenery out there though.

Picked up a jack adapter from @LandCruiserPhil so the factory bottle jack will be more stable fitting against the frame & axle when not on an ideal surface (well, at least more peace of mind). It fits in the first aid compartment nicely, which shares the same space as the bottle jack.

Oh shoot, so your experience is that they are not a functional step? Their site specifically says, "This allows easy access to step into the cab, full protection of the rock panel area, and frees up payload weight for other equipment." I was assuming they worked as a step. I'm looking for something low profile but need a functional step for our kids climbing in & out of the back. Slee has said their sliders will not be back in stock for ~8 weeks...

Oh I guess they mean that the Rails don’t get in the way, like a step might if you were taller. You definitely cannot use the Rails as a step. I can barely get a toe on there.

Installed an RLD Ghost awning as well as sliders from Dissent.

I went to Asheville the week before, I think I need to make suspension a priority now. Unfortunately I don’t trust any of the installers near me in Florida.
How did the install on the Dissent sliders go? I can‘t find anything on their website (or here, or elsewhere) on what’s involved compared to offerings from other companies.

Pretty easy and to caveat this is the first time I am doing any type of mechanical work on a car.

I had to buy a riveting tool, and enlarge a couple of the holes on the frame with a drill. Took about 4 hours.

Thanks. So it uses riv nuts like Slee vs. direct bolt of Bud Built?

Those nutserts are a true PITA. I went through 3 drill bits and a lot of cussing when installing the Metal Tech sliders.
