I had the LabRak inserts in my 100 series bumper and really liked them. I briefly considered going with the Main Land Overland inserts:

I prefer the Labrak over them due to the included blinker/running light. Shane has communicated to me the reason I am still waiting on my order from back in August (problem with a supplier). My order shipped today, I'll keep you guys updated with pictures. IMO, the labrak solution is worth the wait. This time around I elected to go with Rigid lights vs what LabRak offers though.

Finally got around to officially installing the grill and badge. I wanted it to be as oem as possible. You can somewhat see below but outlined the badge and then dremeled the honeycomb section flat so the badge had better surface area. The blue tape marked sections the letters did not cover so they remained untouched by the Dremel. Once the honeycomb was flat I used 3m auto double sided tape and the badge took one screw in middle with a large washer. The badge also had 2 pins on the sides that fit into the 70 grill so I just dremeled those flat. Sorry for angled pics but the badge is centered. I like it!

I like it!

I see where you relocated the front camera, but what did you do about the original front emblem that housed the radar sensor?

That's part of the camera system corrrect? The emblem didn't have any wires connected to it unless Slee rerouted it when they installed my bumper.

Nicely done!

I just received my badge in the mail...but no grill yet.

The radar is not attached to the grill, its attached to the radiator. The only thing attached to the grill is the camera.

Got it! I thought the radar was part of the emblem, but just saw that the radar emitter/receiver is located behind the emblem and not attached to it.

Then can we assume the replaced emblem, which looks like it is positioned in front of the radar emitter/receiver will not interfere with the radar/accident avoidance system?

TIA

It should work, as the standard grille has a lot of plastic with the emblem in front of the radar, but I have not heard of anyone actually testing, I was thinking of changing the grill, so I opened the front and looked, that's how I saw the placement of the radar, but finally decided against.

If that's the case not sure how it wouldn't work. The oem grill and badge is less open than the new one plus the arb lights haven't affected it either.

Is the new one metal or plastic?

Then I agree, it should work.

Very nice mod. It's on my ever-shortening list.

Better picture
