Wanted some overhead storage for the second row for jackets/hats so tied together this paracord net and then just zip-tied it to the grab handles. Will see how it holds up. I had a cargo net thing before but it drooped too much.

Cool idea.

Often thought about ceiling storage because it seems like a perfect spot for flat, light stuff...
Never thought of paracord. Curious to see how your fares with droop, etc.

Did you make an extra for me Matt?!?! When are we gonna link up and compare notes?

Perhaps over a pint anytime in the next couple of weeks. Almost ready to pull the trigger on lift/bumper.

Spidertrax spacers installed. I love the stance now, seems more natural with the wheels at the edge of the body.

Now, to trim the front mud flaps where it rubs...

Looks great! I was equally pleased after adding Spidertrax to my RW/KO2's.
Really gives the truck a more balanced stance. Always interesting to me how small adjustments like that change the "image" of the Cruiser. Similar to just adding ATs over stock tires or a lift. Each small change transforms the thing. Fun stuff!

I 100% agree with you, have 1.25 spacer on both of mine as well.
I love the way they improve the stance. Makes a huge difference IMO.

Best advise I can offer is to make sure to toque both the spacers and the wheels carefully, the most important part is to torque them evenly in an X pattern to prevent any unwanted vibrations. I have had them on all my 200s and have learned the hard way how critical it is to torque them evenly.

-agreed! I'm super weird/paranoid about torquing things to spec.

Already drove it and then took off the wheels and re-checked the torque on the spacers--everything is good to go.

Took off the front mud flaps entirely, put their screws back in the holes. All in all an easy and fun little mod!

Ok, last gratuitous shot-just cleaned it and shined the tires. The spacing is more apparent in this shot. Seriously, last shot. For now...

so other than looks on the stance, what is the benefit functionally?

At the moment, their "functional benefit" is that my WALLET is about $1500 more *functional* than it would have been without spacers...because I'm less tempted to go and buy a set of 20mm offset wheels. ;)

What are the torque specs for the spacer and the wheel?

Spacer lugs to 97 ft lbs...
Then wheel lugs to 87.

They also include a lock-tite type product that you apply to the spacer lugs when installing onto the hub. Mine haven't budged since initial install at 97 + lock tite

When I bought my 20mm offset wheels it was based on looks only pretty much! But one benefit I have noticed is they work like sliders for your quarter panels, I have been up against a tree more than once and because the tire is out past/flush with the fender it protected it from damage!
