What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

These are 17" x 8.5" +25 wheels running 275/70R17 KO3s... the 10.8" spec'd width seems pretty accurate, the 32.2" spec'd diameter seems very, very conservative, as they are taller than my previous 265/70R18 Destination A/T2s which were an honest 32.6". No lift, there is some very slight rub at full lock in reverse when the truck is under heavy compression.

Personally, I think this is the sweet spot, unless you want to get into a lift...

See I could never run my rigs like that. If Im going to go with aftermarket wheels, a lift is a given. As is removal of the mudflaps.

Lift has no bearing on tire fitment.

“What have (are) you done (going to do) to your 200 Series this (next) week?”

With Mrs Claus taking the kids to visit family after Christmas, I’m staying home to complete a refresh/upgrade to the suspension courtesy of Mr. T, Perry Parts, JPanime, ToyTec and @turbo8.

Globes. When I replaced mine I did not realize there were different pns for front and rear. Found out right after installing them. Whoops…

Correct. And Im not saying or implying it does, but it can have bearing on looks. Which to some can be more important than function.

If lifting for looks, I would highly recommend a body lift as part of an overall lift strategy. Practically no compromise, keeps center of gravity low, and more functional clearance at the bumpers.

I have a similar pile of parts sitting in the garage :D
Yeah. I purchased these globes in May, 2023 (to be fair my originals didn’t need to be replaced back then and might still have some life still remaining now). I’ve crossed that point in life that I now have more money than time (though not really a lot of either).

I just purchased the 1" body lift. It is currently listed as being on backorder. I also just received my 24 gallon LRA tank. With the fuel inlet modification required, should I wait to install the tank until after I install the body lift?

The combo of Hamilton conversion kit and the Wolfbox camera mirror works really well.

I also got some new tires last month, Falken Wildpeaks in LT265/70R18. They're supposed to be 33s but sit closer to 31" on the truck. Fitment is good though

Awesome mods lined up!

The BL first might make the LRA install easier with better clearance against the charcoal canister and plumbing to the side of the body. But it's not necessary to wait as once the LRA is in, the body lift can happen seamlessly without touching the LRA again. You might be able get better alignment of the fuel filler neck doing the BL first.

Under heavy braking, almost certainly.

For sure. Darty under hard acceleration as well. And darty steering strait ahead on uneven surfaces. It's just a bad thing all around and can't unfeel once understanding the dynamics.

I finally got the front end cleaned up after hitting a deer a couple months ago. Insurance covered everything but the left headlight assembly. Toyotas 25% off sale was nicely timed and kept the headlight under $800. Having 12 years of bumper scuffs and plastic headlight fog deleted for under $900.
