Running like this for now. Not sold on spacers yet. To me they make wheels with high positive offset look odd.Looks great! IMO maybe would look a bit better with spacers, otherwise looks a little like it skipped leg day...

I got these from Aliexpress, just needed something better than the really under performing bulbs that were in the car before, drop in replacements for the OEM holders. Can you shed some light on what bulbs you used?
That's such a great looking front end...I don’t get to do too much, but I have done a few little things the last few weeks.
LFD skid plate
Baja Designs SAE driving lights
Toyota/Lexus tailgate dampener.

Do you have a link to the part or part number?I installed a cartridge style block heater and ordered a set of blizzaks for my LX. Might install battery and oil pan heaters as well. Ready for driving home for the holidays where it is pretty much assured to be wayyyyy below zero.
just removed mine. Also makes turning on trails in CO easier, without as wide a scrub radius.Unpopular opinion: spacers often trade function for form.
Turns out if nothing else is rubbing keeping the mud and rocks under the truck and not all over the sides of it is pretty nice.

You are the third LX/LC I've seen with these wheels and they look fantastic! Congrats.First mod on this new to me 2008 LX570. Icon wheels with TerraGrappler-G3 285/70R17.

Back in my 20s we used to call that the drift stitchFabricated a sweet custom front bumper with the help of a four legged friend. Unfortunately, he didn’t want to stick around for dinner after. I think I need to take a sharpie to the screw heads but that’s all I had available and needed to get it roadworthy so I could drive it home.

I would not go that far.. they can make the rig look better, clear bigger brakes, provide better handling characteristics. It all depends on the application, use case, etc.Spacers make literally everything worse.
Where would one get the front and rear spacers?Like all things, spacers can be used in good and bad ways. With the wrong application, they'll make things worse. If done with understanding and intent, spacers are a useful tool.
Shamelessly
- 17mm front shock spacers to increase suspension travel from 9" to 10" with no compromises
- 20mm rear spring spacers increase coil spring preload to allow AHC to handle 2200lbs payload with no trade to travel or ride quality
- 1.25" wheel spacers to make room against the UCA for 37s while also optimizing scrub radius and increasing roll stability
- .75" body lift spacers to make more room for large tires while lifting front and rear bumpers for more clearance

Truck looks amazing. I'm guessing with those bigger front shock spacers, you had to replace the top shock mount bolts for longer ones? I thought I read somewhere that the biggest spacer without changing out the bolts was 13mm. I've never considered body mount spacers. Did you do the install on those yourself or is that a bigger job than DIY (i.e., without a lift)?Like all things, spacers can be used in good and bad ways. spacers everywhere and wouldn't have it any other way. Except maybe portalsSpacers make literally everything worse.
How do you like that drawer fridge? We’ve debated on one for our LX but not sure if the capacity is enough. How cold does it get?Working on a repurposed drawer system that I have had in various trucks over the years. Just finished doing some little side panels and an anchor panel for my Vtomen 600W power station. The power station is trickle charged by the rear plug on the 200 series. Great little set up and it was very inexpensive. It basically simulates a little dual battery setup. Keeps my fridge running really easily and gives me plenty of USB power in the back.
Just need to finish it out with some carpet and it will look really good I think

Gets cold, I haven’t measured the actual coldest temp, but it does fine with food and drinks. I love the size, but certainly not big. I have mostly used it on solo trips, or group trips where other folks also have coolers and fridges to “share” cold storage. How do you like that drawer fridge?
