Not sure what you plan to go on top of that platform, but the double size of this self-inflating mattress fits perfectly back there and is extremely comfortable: Exped MegaMat Duo 10 Sleeping Pad

Will use a 3" thick foam mat that will roll up when not in use.

What are the odds....

Anyone have non-working fogs??

So....my fog lights have never worked. I figured the lights were dead....checked the power...no power...no continuity at all.

So I started searching and found a several year old thread on Mud where someone checked theirs and there was no relay from the factory....so this got me thinking...mine had to be missing the relay, right? Getting to it is a PITA....left DS kick panel...unhook all of the harnesses...and then I couldn’t figure out where the relays were supposed to be....I though the panel came apart....wrong. The relays are on the backside of the yellow panel. I took a long screwdriver and used it for leverage to pry the panel away from the LC and somehow got my hands back there and by feeling around and looking at the schematic of the panel found that there was NO RELAY. Wtf. Why would they leave out a relay? No way anyone ever took it out bc why would you? It is too much of a pain. So I finagled (purely off of feel) the relay I bought off of eBay into the socket and VOILA....fogs worked. I won’t even use them, but it was bugging the crap out of me.

Relay Part number: 90987-02012

Old thread: Fog Lamp Relay location Issues/Q's.. Need help

Looks fantastic! Very similar to my platform. I love the way you cut the platform so as to maximize space. I decided not to because I wanted to easily pull it straight out without any strange twisting. That said, yours looks awesome enough that it makes me question my decision!

I may have to steel that tie down idea. Looks like that cooler is staying put!

On a related note, how do you like the RTIC? I've been eyeing one lately.

Got the electrical on the drawer wired in to the secondary battery. Now I can not only see the voltage of batt 2 at a glance, but i have 2 USB outlets and a cig lighter outlet in the rear. Plus LED lights in the rear hatch.
I also built a cage to enclose the fridge so stuff wouldn't fall on the drawer slides

What are those extra storage doors on your bottom trunk door? Looks cool

And I'm sure you're referring to the fact, that all 3 wind deflectors are intact... :)

Brilliant add- You made me laugh out loud- thanks

This approach sounds much more appealing than drilling.... fish tape ordered :bounce:

Heat up the end of an awl for a nice clean hole.

I use and supply a short piece of #12 solid for a fish wire with all of our aux fan kits. Works much better than a fish tape.

The cruiser crossed 240k miles this week. In the past 3 weeks I’ve driven from dallas to my lease in Hamilton, TX, a duck hunting spot I have in Paris, TX, and drove to Tulsa for a wedding this past weekend.

Truck did great but in Tulsa I noticed some weird grinding with the suspension cycling. The truck made it home but on my commute today I noticed a very odd rumbling/popping that came with speed on my drivers side. I had myself convinced it was a bad CV (ask @DirtDawg i probably sent him 75 texts worrying about it). So I got home tonight, jack the truck up, get my wheel lock key out, put it on the lug, and I noticed it was literally backed out so far the “acorn” of the lug was beyond the outside edge of the wheel. Sure enough 3 of my other lugs were finger tight and the last was backed out like the wheel lock. I think I forgot to do a final torque on my lugs on the drivers side when I replaced that shock only. Scary....but so glad I looked.

I popped off my dust cap while it was on the jack and my snap ring was good, CV looked great (torn bolts but I knew that), and nothing appeared to be out of place. Drove it around and feels great. My wife was not happy about this little mistake, and she’s not wrong this small mistake could’ve cost us a lot more than money. Keep your head on a swivel, check and double check everything!!!

Here’s pics of the cruiser doing “around town” duty, including sitting in the valet line at the casino in Tulsa :D

Thanks!! Do need to take the legs off to move it in and out of the truck at an angle. Tied the platform down to the stock floor tie down as well that do not show in those pics. The cooler stays put so far!

The RTIC is pricey but works REALLY well. Like the way you can tie it down without preventing access. Less expensive than the Yeti and performs the same if not better.

I installed some new seat covers on my trashed seats! They are NeoSupreme Custom Fit from a brand called Seat Designs.

I bought them from AutoAnything for $165.00 - Click Here

Just bought this 100 Series with 242K and the previous owners trashed it.

They look so much better and feel nice! I don't have the money for the leather replacements and i would much rather put the money into some suspension or tires right now.
