Today I also installed a rear view camera, using @bludy1 ’s lx470 guide, and the same parts he referenced. Only difference was tail light is on the side of the body instead of in the tailgate.

Ozone treatment to get rid of cigarette odor (from P.O.) that lingered even after powerwashing carpet, cleaning seats, headliner and all interior surfaces. Ran it for two hours + 15 mins with air on.

You should let that Ozone machine run longer at least 2 days continuously you can just put the machine inside too if you like. Mold and cigar smell are the worst when it comes to odor removal.

I once purchased a car that had been smoked in for years. What worked for my situation was leaving a pots filled with vinegar inside the car for days. Then commercial stregth deodorizer. Got rid of the smell completely.

ozone worked awesome for me. tried activated charcoal etc. I just put that same unit right inside the car. you have a much cooler looking gig going on.

Did the "Mud Flap Eliminators" today... Not only will this help off road; it looks so much better. Great product and well worth it.

After weeks of thinking it through, here's the result...

I was able to pull pre-existing wires from unused harnesses behind the mirror control to locate a power wire, illuminated power wire, and ground. Two of the pins that came with the harness I used as a trigger and illumination of the "on" light. I ran a wire to the back of the truck. PureFJCruiser was my source for the switch and harness.

The wiring diagram.

At the back of the truck I tied in to the power outlet lead to attach a micro relay i purchased off amazon. Hooked up all the wires and done!

Cleaned up the rat's nest of wires for my CB/amateur/amp and properly wired the LED light bar. Time to adjust pight bar after dark. A dang nut vibrated completely off as a result of washboarded roads. Luckily the way the mount captures the bar I didn't lose the bar. I use a lot of locktite. IH8washbaord
