Let me know what you think of those rear control links. I'm putting in my ToughDog lift next week and the rear control arms are on deck for June before HIH. Very curious your feedback on them. Thanks in advance.

So far so good, I noticed an improved noise reduction. It feels much tighter. I have/had the dreaded "thunk" coming from the rear end when going from R to D. It helped reduce it some. Still need to change bushings in rear sway bar and see if that helps. The instructions are not great, but good. I did manage to get them on being a novice mechanic at best. The instructions state they are Right and Left specific, I called Metal Tech since I could not tell a difference and was told those instructions are old. The tech stated they planned to edit them so no more confusion. No need to worry about sides. Just make sure Johnny Joints are on the frame portion. It did not specify about the upper links, so i just assumed it was the same. Johnny Joints bolted to frame for both upper and lower links.

TLCFAQ has a great write up on the install too. This forum helped immensely with the install. I could not find a wrench big enough to tighten the Johnny Joint bolt so I just used a pair of channel locks with a rag to tighten the bolt and not marr it. I think you'll be satisfied with them and a good thing to do before HIH. Hope it helps, have a great time in HIH. And PB Blaster is your best friend!

Why do you need a rear fog light?

Helps people behind you see your vehicle while driving in fog or heavy rain. They're required in some European countries which is why most Audis and MBs sold in the states are equipped with them. Unfortunately, many people here don't know what they are and will drive around with the rear fog on all the time.

@99lx47O haha Looks like you were aiming for it! Right place right time. I hope nothing got hurt underneath

I'm doing something similar on mine. But, I'm putting that same light up on the drivers rear side of the roof rack and linked to a dedicated switch. This is referred to as a "dust light" and serves a similar purpose to the euro-rear fog light. It's amazing how my pearl white LX will disappear in our whitish dust here in TX. My dad followed me once and said he couldn't see my truck at all. The guys in SA and Australia put dust lights on theirs. Figure I'd be safe as well.

BIG upgrade on Sunday! "D" light stopped working. Easiest job I've done so far. .0000000000000001 banana job.

Replaced my navigation and HVAC controls. Ready for an Aftermarket Kenwood with Garmin Nav! Yes you can delete NAV and have all controls. Thank you Jerry Brinkley!

BTW the interior temperature is in Celsius so 20 degrees Celsius is 68 Degrees Fahrenheit :)

Where did you get the parts? How much did the parts cost? Sweeeeeeeeet setup!

While you have your Nav unit out, would you mind checking if it has a fuse on the back? :-) Also, any interest in selling yours that was pulled?

I have the same ability to pick inopportune times to change lanes, though it's never been a bicycle. Driving like Grandpa and sticking to my lane has helped with this type of carnage. Glad you caught up, or he stopped, and took responsibility, you don't hear that too often.

What piece are you interested in buying. PM me and we can discuss further

Replaced the cabin air filter and 2 drain and fills on the transmission with Mobil 1 ATF
OK did you mod the cabin air filter and add one. I have looked behind the glove box in my 03LC and no such beast exists.

Thanks
