Yeah, very lucky and rare to find five. A friend had them sitting in his shop. he and I were just talking about our rigs and I told him I wanted to put RWs on mine. He said,"I have some if you want them". He actually had six, but the last one was pretty beat.

I got lucky too. A while back I bought 4 from a guy on CL and looked for a 5th for a few months. Then a few weeks ago I went into Valdosta Toyota to order a replacement AC condensor seal and noticed they had one new Rock Warrior on display in the showroom. I made them a cash offer and walked out with it!

There is a member on this forum here with these wheels, they look great. I wish they made them in an 18". That and I can't bring myself to throw away perfectly good wheels. His truck is either blue vapor, or thundercloud.
If I had seen these when I bought mine, they would be on my truck.

Memorial Day trail riding is coming. So.....
  • Put the front and mid skids back on
  • Painted the control arm skids tough dog red (install needed)
  • Changed the setting on the SPC uca's to D from E
  • Switched the cv clamps to the pfrans clamps
Checked the cv's for grease after 100 miles and they were bone dry

Removed the rear resonator and replaced it with tubing. The resonator was heavy at 12.5 lbs. Used existing factory exhaust rubber mounts and fabbed a hanger from the mount to the pipe x2 for a solid feel. Picked up a cleaner look with more clearance. Was hoping for a little more tone but when I asked the wife I got the does not sound any different to me.:meh: Next on the mod list is to raise the receiver outlet 2".

Installed some extended front stabilizer bar links fabbed for me by @reevesci. Also installed a new front stabilizer bar ( the holes where the links go through were oblong instead of round)

I have had MANY emails and PMs on the extended links. I just received all the OEM Toyota bushing blocks and the DOM tube. I will have these available in a few days. 80$ a pair shipped. PM or email me to get on the list. I have 17 pre-ordered currently.

I was going to offer an aftermarket bushing, but after working with them... NOT A CHANCE!!!!!! OEM Toyota ONLY!

Yes, I will also have the extended rears as well. 70$ a pair shipped.

^ could be my imagination but the front end feels tighter, slightly flatter turning(less body roll). Could be the new stabilizer bar, or the combination of both extended links and new stabilizer bar.

I've only driven it 15miles, but so far it feels worthwhile. The links now sit upright vs being pushed over.

Not sure why this mod hasn't been addressed earlier(other than a couple of inmates doing some R&D). Seems to me when you lift the front 2" you need to adjust the stabilizer link height at the same time( same as the rear)

Looks great, you also removed the roof rack... how did you cover the remaining holes?
I covered mine provisionally with tape until I receive the plastic covers

New to me LX470 and first modification. Took off the running boards. Very happy with the results. Seeing everyone's work is very inspiring. Love these trucks!

Hi, The rack was removed when I bought the truck. I don't think it ever had one. There are some plastic/rubber strips over the location of what would be the mounting locations. Let me know if you want pictures.

Tailgate refresh R50 Richlite thanks to @TrekboxX
