What have you done to your 100 Series this week? (73 Viewers)

I got a few things done this week.
-New rear Calipers (passenger side was having intermittent issues)
-New Rotors and pads (Rear)
-Lubed propeller shaft and slip yoke (no more clunk)
-had all 4 tires balanced by Lexus. It seems they are pretty much the only ones who get the whole "Lug centric" thing. I originally took it to a local tire place... the guy comes out and says "got her all done" I ask "oh you had the attachment for the lug centric" he says "no I just put the rim on backwards and spun the cone on that way" FACE PALM! Not only did they not balance correctly but he F-ed up my rims AAAAGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

100 wheels are hub centric, not lug centric.
"Stock" 100 wheels yes......the ones I have are not stock 100. I believe they are from the current 200 series but I'm not positive. Either way they're 20" lug centric. I should've clarified that originally.

Edit: and they came with the truck when I bought it.

Out with the old, in with the new:

Your factory skid plate, are you planning to keep it? Mine rusted like crazy where the open cell foam is glued on. If yours is generally rust free and you'd consider selling, PM me.

T-Hose heater connector gave on me in the McDonald's drive through-- replaced both. It disintegrated as I removed it from the hose. 150,000 miles and 17 years of service, not too bad for plastic though.

Trip prep continues: Reworked the fuel carrying situation since moving to a hard shell RTT. Moved fuel from rooftop to swingout. Added AT propane bottle mount. Water is moving to the interior...

Oh, and some real lighting on the front!

Sorry, someone called the front and intermediate skid plates about five minutes after I posted this pic...

@cboyd

Is your fuel swing out holder from Slee? I have the same rotopax but looking for way to haul 2. Will a second rotopax fit in place of the propane bottle?

Looks good!

why not just double stack the RotoPax with one of their extensions?

@Bloomer, Yes it's the Rotopax Pivot Holder from Slee
Slee - Toyota 100 Series Land Cruiser Rear Bumper

You can mount another Rotopax where the fuel is, as well as run the 4Gallon cans which would occupy the whole thing. I am actually going to mount a second 3g on the one I put there. It's stout enough to manage the double stack as @therealdutch mentions. There are more photos on the slee page...

Finally installed my single row 50" LED light bar under my Bajarack. I'll try to run the wiring tomorrow.

Oxygen sensor, bank 2, sensor 1. Getting fat hands up to the wire plug & getting it unplugged proved to be a challenge. But it is done and the code is cleared. Glad I got that ScanGauge II, makes checking and clearing codes a breeze.

Let me show you guys what a $50 led light button from Australia looks like (top right). The virticle one on the lower left was only $14..... Sure does look pretty and correct though!

Well you know... just the usual, head gasket replacement, rebuild fuel injectors, extractors, new alloy radiator. Head rebuilt, replace harmonic balance seal and oil pump cover gasket.

Just the usual! Which engine?
