The LX470 is getting a new front end. Suspension that is; spent the day pulling the old A-arms off. All the rubber is going..I think I'm keeping the lift height sensor linkages - everything else is going.
Number 2 son got an early birthday present:

1,600 lb·ft of (advertised) torque; it got a workout today. One charge and it was still going when we quit. I bought it for him because I know it'll be years before he has the room for a compressor, and not having a strong impact is no fun. It was nice not having to drag air hose all over creation, too.
The lower rear A-arm nuts would not budge, for some reason. So, in the spirit of doing the right thing the wrong way, I put a wrench on the nut and zipped the bolt. They both came out, no problem. I'm stumped. I could see the nuts stuck in if they were serrated flange nuts, but they're not. Oh well, all's well that ends well.
Not counting the plastic pins holding the inner fender covers on (and who does?), I only broke one thing: now I need a new DS ABS connector housing. Crap. That little lock tab just didn't want to move...
Tomorrow is cleaning day and Tuesday is "going back together" day.
