My iteration from all the ideas I got in the thread below:do you have the masterplan for this? i'd like to do one. Thanks and appreciate it!
Interesting. I’ve always thought it was louder with the wind noise especially at freeway speed.finally wired in the the back up camera to the Kenwood deck. Mounted at on 3rd brake light for wider sky view angle, as I always have bike hitch on the truck. Also installed some Wells window visors. Nice sound improvement when windows are open too.

not the best res or even close but the screen is also low res so mute point. Used Pioneer NDBC8 wide view, decent night vision that is more grainy. Mounted direct to scuffed up 3rd brake light using the stock double sided tape, used same grommet as the 3rd light into the roof liner with silicon to patch the hole. Camera cable was plenty long enough to run this route to the deck. If the tape fails I'll get more robust epoxy. Got the idea from Sprinter Van bird's eye camera view. Works great with the bike rack, I have the red lines to the 2nd bike tray and right side matches the curb. Kenwood deck had a "trigger" wire that would sense when in Reverese. I tapped in the tailgate reverse light. My 01' LX didn't color match what 00' wires into the ECU so I didn't want to take chances and just run into the bulb. What exactly was your reverse cam solution? I'm in the same situation with my bike rack.
Looks good, this is probably the happy stance for 100s. It'll be much better when loaded up with gear.Realized that even with a rear bumper, drawers, fridge and my lard ass, the 863's are still too tall.
I don't think the Gamviti Rack will help, but will be putting it back on shortly.

AHC is a free lunch. Its self leveling regardless of loadI agree and think it looks great! There's no free lunch with suspension setups. If you get it nice and level unloaded you'll be sagging and dragging ass loaded.
I don't mind at little "stink bug" and generally think people go way too far to achieve a leveled look. I'd say your right will be just about perfect once loaded.
Last summer, maybe two years ago, I was driving the fam, 4 adults, from Orange County to Mammoth in July. It was like 110 and who knows how hot the asphalt was. Going up 395, we stopped at a rest stop before going into to Lone Pine. We all got back in and the engine turned over but stalled out. I had a feeling that the fuel was vaporizing before it got to the engine. We let it sit for about 20 min, started back up and no issues like that since. I think I even posted about this trying to find out if anyone else has had this issue. I have skid plates underneath and my thought was that once stopped, with no airflow that the fuel was vaporizing. Sorry for your issue but glad to hear that it isn't just me.I hope this solves the boiling fuel/vapor lock issue.View attachment 3386815View attachment 3386814
I still have about 4 sq. ft. of uninsulated area at the back side of the tank, will do that when the additional insulation pads come in next week.
Industrial grade insulation now installed.
I have aluminum skid plates as well, the mid and rear skids are still off until I complete the insulation job at back end of the gas tank. And yes this is a common issue just for the 100 most esp on the 06/07 models.Last summer, maybe two years ago, I was driving the fam, 4 adults, from Orange County to Mammoth in July. Side stripe looks good! I think with that rake it has to have at least 400 lbs of additional weight in the back, probably an RTT and jerry cans full of gas to level the back. How’s the ride in the back?Realized that even with a rear bumper, drawers, fridge and my lard ass, the 863's are still too tall.

Timeless OEM look never fails. CongratulationsAfter close to 2 years of searching, finally pulled the trigger and picked up a 100. Still incredibly surprised with how good of condition it’s in.
