i can buy a lot of carpet cleaner for $3500-6000 :)

Wow!!!!! Where in the hell are you paying $6,000 for a small 4x8 trailer?

thought you meant overland capable trailer....dont have room for one nor the need....I dont care about a little blood and will just replace the carpet on tail gate. It is only a truck and I knew it would happen...it is almost 13 years old afterall... LOL Not going to spend even $500-1000 for a landscape trailer for that....some plywood or a 2x10 with a roller on one end to lift and shove in the back with deer on it will work good enough when alone. LOL

What about a $100 trailer hitch carrier? That what my father in law uses when not using a pick up truck. Low loading too.

Got a gas can carrier done for an upcoming trip. My buddy modified a Labs basket for the empty swingout on my Labs bumper....krylon and I'm good to go.

Wow filters must be expensive in Kenya or something. I throw mine away and put in new ones. :)

Local cruiser specialists don't stock them & Toyota Zimbabwe have never sold them. They have 6 on order but most likely because I asked Mr Cruiser about them... Expected price ... $110 to land them here from Toyota official parts

$110 and still not available

I almost had a convertible 100. Scraped on the last concrete pillar. Talk about a strange noise

You should hear the sound of a wooden chair strapped to the roof rack be driven into a 7' residential garage at about 10mph. Now THAT is a noise. The chair lost, in the end.

At least it's the roof rack. When I came to Charlotte for an interview about 4 years ago, I put a crease down the roof of the cab of my old Cummins Turbo Diesel ram ... cleared the clearance signs on the way in by about 4 inches, did not clear the exit signs ...

well I put a huge blood spot on the tailgate carpet about the size of a football...soaked all the way through to bottom so thinking if steam carpet cleaner does not get it out then will replace with some plastic colored replacement....a wagongear setup or something else as it is going to happen again and again since I use it for deer hunting. I have the rear cargo liner from Weathertech but does not keep their heads and bodies from leaking onto tailgate when loading alone. Especially when they take an hour to load by yourself...I think I need to make a skid to lay on tailgate to help drag them up instead of manhandling 150-180lbs of dead weight with antlers 2 or 3 times a year alone. :hillbilly:

already rinsed cargo liner and letting it dry so will spare you the blood pools in that...

go get $40 hitch haul at harbor freight to haul the dead deer. I use a a folding rack for those nasty jobs. Nice buck

Now that you mention it, I remember that they cost $110 for 2 of them here in Canada as well. I buy them for $15 each at a Toyota dealer across the border in the US.

Oh and to keep on topic, today I fabbed up a chain plate to weld onto the bottom of the receiver on my SLEE rear bumper so I can tow with it. Gonna be a shame to grind of that nice powder coating.

Paid tax on my NEW (to me) Cruiser!

Not sure about Kenya, but in Harare they $110 landed each, none at the cruiser specialist or at Toyota Zimbabwe, never mind the activated carbon question... That's just for a plain white filter

yeah but property owner does not want me field dressing and as warm as our early season is...dont want it in 90* weather especially at road level more than needed...at least in rear I can run the air on high and cool the cargo area....

but yeah there are options....but replacing the tailgate carpet with something else with some texture but easier to clean is my first choice...maybe WagonGear. :)

A lot of hunters here use their winches and roll bars in their 70 series pickups to winch buffalo & antelope into their vehicles, but have pulleys on their front bumpers & roll bars for the winch cables, maybe a mod with similar plan in mind... Would probably have to go under the Hundy then up through the floor and over a roll bar with pulley that fits into the cargo section... Just my 2c worth

Cleaned MAF and TB. I feel like its a big improvement but lack empirical data. Need to get a scangauge so I can measure before and after data and not rely on BS'ing myself that my hard work resulted in improvements.

Gave my 100 a face lift. Installed new headlights, Line X'd the metal strip below the headlights that runs from one end to the other, Plastidip'ed the grille, and added a pair of Lightforces. The project was much simplier than anticpated and I'm very pleased with the results. Bad cell phone camera shot....the white dots must have been dirt on the lens.

Installed a new Slee BlueBerry and replaced my front bling grill with an OEM grill.
