pushed it up hill so that the battery could be reached by the jumper cables because it was boxed in in a sloped parking lot.. It took 4 guys just to get it rolling. Damn they are heavy.

PS. Dont hit the switch for the 130W IPFs with your knee without knowing. It does not take long for those to bleed a battery.

Washed it. Waiting for bushings so I can replace the rack.

Honestly, the only thing I'm missing are some LEDs. Then I'm just driving it.

how hard was the rack replacement? Pics, step by step?

It's enough of a pita that I'm just paying my mechanic the $300 to do it.

Mounted some old diamond plate to the front of my Outback drawers to mount two 12v outlets. One for my ARB fridge and another for a cell phone or inverter. Used the stock anchor d-rings to tie down the fridge.

New tires - 285/75/16 Terra Grapplers in load range E. Worn tires versus brand new ones isn't a good comparison, but they feel like a big improvement over the Big O ATs that were on there. Smoother, quieter, and much better grip on muddy gravel roads. We had about nine inches of snow, but almost nothing stuck to the roads, and by the time I drove it was just wet. They still felt good there.

Next up. I'm still not happy with how it drives (torque steer at low speeds and wanders at highway speed), so I'm going to drop the front an inch or so and get it aligned to see if that helps.

I've also got some corrosion on the battery terminals, enough that it wouldn't start a few days ago. So I need to clean that up properly.

Removed my canvas "escape gear" seat covers to give them a wash, they had collected a years worth of dirt from kids & food & spilt juice etc

They definitely do their job, the leather seats underneath were pretty much perfect, I then cleaned the leather bits that were dirty from not being under canvas & conditioned the leather too, then got at all the dirty plastic bits & carpet

The escape gear covers had to be hand washed twice, they lose a bit of color along with the dirt

Car smells new again, but just for luck my 3 year old took a pee from behind the DS seat, luckily the door was open... but he didn't quite get it all out, so we had a spill on the nice clean carpet :o) I was just happy he missed the leather...

I was having an issue with torque steer also. Hit the guy that Slee recommends at Stevinson West for the alignment (I don't remember his name). He used the numbers that Slee recommended for my alignment and it has been a huge improvement.

Added some graphics- now it's my "company car".:beer:

Love the retro graphics. I really enjoyed the Black Imperial IPA I had last week! Excellent.

x2 on what Bluecruiser said.

I replaced my speaker cloth today (in the rain). Just half a  job. I am happy with the result.

They looked pretty beat up so I bought some black speaker cloth at a local store (gray wasn't available).
Taking the door panels off was pretty straight forward. I am always amazed how nicely Toyota builds their vehicles. I have worked on many domestic and European cars but you can't beat the Japanese when it comes to build quality and fit & finish.

Nice results! Might have to make this my next mod as mine are looking a bit "worn" too.

What material is that?

Basic speaker cloth I bought at the local Fabricland store. They sell all sorts of fabrics and sewing accessories.
$ 10 a meter. I couldn't buy less. I still have most of it. :p

Here are some more pictures. Not much to see really. I used some glue to keep the fabric in place. Once you mount the grill it won't shift.
I had to glue 3 of the 4 door storage compartments (what do you call these?), the original adhesive was cracked and they were loose on one side.

Had the snow tires put on (Pirelli Scorpian Snow&ice) because the Michelin LTX's were completely bald. Had the rear left axle seal replaced, replaced the dif fluid, replaced the windshield wipers, fixed all the speakers, cleaned the inside after 8 months of just neglect and put led bulbs in the doors and license plates. Now i need to clean the MAF sensor and TB because when i start it it starts fine, then the RPMs go down, engine seems like it'll conk out then goes back to normal? Runs fine when warmed up and everything though.

Replaced my lower links with Metal Techs new and beefier offset lowers. When compared to OEM the new ones look like they will be less prone to bending.
