I haven't had time to take it out and get any good photos of it yet, and now it looks like my photobucket account has maxed itself out for the month! The green is a really nice colour, it's so deep. The guys did a great job on the bar, the paint is awesome.
The front mirror is a little quirky, it certainly makes the cruiser unique amongst the others I see. It works well, it actually has two convex mirrors in it, one lets you see all the way down the left side, the other gives you a view of the area right in front of the bar for parking up close. :)

Today I fixed the centre cup holder spring lid, the locating tab for the spring must have broken off. I managed to screw in a piece of stainless (from a worm drive hose clamp!) and use that for the spring to sit on. Works great now. And I changed the centre power outlet next to the cigarette lighter over to a twin output USB plug, and put an aerial amplifier on the radio. Picks up FM stations a lot clearer now.

Very cool, keep it up.

Replacing front transfer case seal. Way more of a PITA that I first thought.

Holy hell. When i did mine i kept it in the truck, just removed the front housing, and when it was time to remove the shaft i took it to toyota and they charged me $70 to remove it.

Where did you get that tool?

How did you remove it in the truck? Beno said it had to be removed and I tried removing the front housing on the truck but it wouldn't come off.

The tool is a regular jaw puller with some extension in the arm. Worked like a charm.

I think i just loosened it on the mount, so it dropped down a little. Then removed the housing and fenagled it off.

i couldn't find any jaws from the local places to rent tools that could slide between the gear and the housing. I like your method though, hopefully wont do that job for a while but i have done 2 rear seals in the last 12mo. Mud kills those things.

Spent an hour drying carpet and the main wiring loom that runs along the DS after I learned my soft side cooler leaks like a sieve.

BTDT. Time to get a hard sided unit. Bummer. At least it was water.

Finished freshening my rims and calipers. Also decided to use the rest of the paint to fake a newer grill on my '98. Cheaper than buying the later model grill.

Few bits and pieces done. I fixed the automatic opening lid on the front cup holder in the console. If looked like a retainer for the spring had broken off, I just used a small piece of stainless steel (from a worm drive hose clamp!) fixed to one if the screws under there to give the spring a new locator.

Pinched some spotties from my other truck which doesn't get used much anymore :D

Changed the power outlet up the front to a dual USB outlet.
And I also put some new bonnet struts in to stop it hitting my head.

Finally got all the front end puzzle pieces put back together yesterday. After 2+ months on stilts the spressoWAGON is rolling again. All this because a s***-head diff shop (Sean the owner actually) in Sacramento must have been 10-joints into a stuper when he attempted, yes attempted, to set my diffs up originally.

Long story but for you guys in NorCal with a 100 I'd suggest not taking it/them to River City Differentials (I'm not the only one he's proven his lack of worth to in the 100 world). And although he's done right by my 80-Series brothers, he's apparently got something against 100 diffs

Sorry to hear about these kind of struggles Dan. Always sucks to put up hard earned coin and days/weeks/months of valuable/memorable lost trail time due to an incompetent party..

Glad the spressoWAGON is solid again.

Put "Euro" clear corner markers with stealth bulbs on my 07 LX470 in addition added HID low beams and fog lights.

No worries XAlent, I understood you perfectly.
Did you wear your thongs?:)

Ran into a snag tho with almost 200k miles on it it became clear that the water pump or thermostat had never been replaced ... Shortly into this found that the thermostat housing was fused to the water inlet thing and was slightly bulging so it could not be removed without breaking it so I ordered a new housing and will be picking up that later today to complete the job, that could be a indicator that the thermostat was maybe not functioning correctly causing my slight miss at idle effecting the fuel injectors... In addition I am also doing a complete fuel system clean out including injectors and testing the ohms on each coil to see if any are slowly failing! Hopefully should be done today! Started this yesterday morning. Now that I discovered all of that I am very glad I did this because eventually that could have caused a huge disaster! So wish me luck on the lx running perfect when I get done! Haha

Insured it, drove the suckah home and ordered some weathertech digi-fit mats. Have them on another car and they are perfectly fit and contain the dirt an debris (I'm in and out of the car with workboots all day.....it can get really dirty)

my 100 - Lowered Slee rear swing out Jerry can holder to bottom rung... drilled and tapped hole in swing out base to accommodate. Drilled Power Tank aluminium bracket to match Slee ladder hole pattern.

Buddy 100 (new to him 99 with 184k) - replaced all sway bar bushings and installed new OEM shocks all around. Installed my old hitch bar to his truck. Still troubleshooting locker actuator... light blinks no locking.

^ thin wire; positioned where it gets big road crud; probably your suspect.
