The scissor portion of the sensor was bending the wrong way. AHC high n low works like a dream. I am a genius.

I was just about to say I have extra height sensors OEM. But looks like you got it figured out. Cheers!

if a castle nut isn't lining up with the hole for the cotter pin I should go tighter right?
referring to the LCA BJ
Correct you go tighter to line it up. There is a spec in the manual I believe for how much additional turn is acceptable. I believe it was something like 6/8ths of a full turn or something like that (pretty sure that number is not right but it was something less than a full turn).

Edit:
If anyone needs it later the actual amount is specified is "if the holes for the cotton pin are not aligned, tighten the nut further up to 60 degrees."

Greased drivetrain zerks and fixed a squeaky steering wheel with a little silicone spray. I don't think the driveshaft had ever been serviced as it took 90-100 pumps from the gun to do the job. Satisfying results for such a small job.

What grease are you using? Curious. I use M1 Syn.

You gotta love when that old grease starts snap crackle popping out. ;)

Lolled at 6/8th .
Needed a good chuckle to start my morning. Thank you.

Dear God I hope nobody is camping in the left lane in front of you. The gratification of flashing them would just be too great.

I found out this week that my truck needs a starter. At 280k, she's starting to fuss a little bit on cold start up in the morning. Diagnosed by LC extraordinaire Wermz and on the schedule for this week. Hmph.

Any difference in gauge readout after installing the new oil pressure sender?
Used it for a good 50 miles today and last night. No difference. The oil pressure gauge needle still reads at 1/4 mark and stays there may it be idling, flat cruising or accelerating flat/uphill roads. Am I missing something?

fridge in / mounted airline track. going to drop the lifep04 battery and red arc to my fab buddy to make an interior box / mount tomorrow.

Looks nice, but do you need a step stool to get into the fridge? Is that slide top an option for the Dobinson drawers or did you modify it? It looks more robust than the ARB slider tops I have in my Sequoia.

Installed the Apex 12k winch on the LX. Really wanted that control box hidden but damn it's huge. I couldn't fit it in the bumper or under the hood.

Mine is about the same. I think it is just the way it is.

Removed the wood trim on the drivers and passengers window switches. Any recommendations on how to protect the virgin plastic?
