We did a four mile hike then did some snow and ice wheeling until the ice got treacherous. The sun is stronger, the days are longer. Felt great to be out and enjoying it.

Finally got around to changing the AHC fluid yesterday on LX. After what seemed like a comedy of errors on my part(hose falling off several of the bleeding screws causing fluid to fall all over me), i successfully was able to get it done with no warning lights or odd behavior from the system. Unfortunately didn't notice a difference in the ride, will wait until i get the torsion bars adjusted for the final judgement.
Probably good you did, though. Fresh fluid protects everything better, and keeps it lasting longer. Mine was a dark green coming out- light pink going in.

4,999 miles and 7.5 months after get to do a change oil again this time using Walmart’s Supertech Fully Synthetic 0W-16. Curious how the engine would perform on this esp spring/summer is just around the corner.

Many thanks also to @Eyedaho for giving me his stock torsion bars for free. What a great guy! Had them installed yesterday. My AHC delete is finally complete.

I'm glad they made the journey and that it worked out for you! Kind of cool that a little piece of my cruiser is alive on the streets down there!

Installed a newly rebuilt instrument cluster. All new bulbs, stepper motors, with odometer set to current mileage. Note this unit was correctly advertised as being compatible for a 98-99 model. I had previously bought a replacement from eBay that was listed for 98-03 model. It turned out to be for an ATRAC model that will not work correctly on a 99 model.

One more issue repaired on the LX470 build. Valve covers next.

Where did you have this done? One of my steppers seems to be intermittent.

I bought it on eBay from Tanin Auto Electronix. It was a complete rebuild. New stepper motors, lights, polished lens, and mileage set to my current mileage. Total cost $452 includes tax and shipping. Contact them for pricing.

how are you providing air flow to fridge?

I positioned an exhaust vent near the outflow from the fridge, and another vent to exhaust warm air from the space it sits in. There is also a good 2-3 inches of space on each side and the top, and 10-12 inches behind it. I was aware of the need to ventilate, so I think it's addressed pretty well.

On my ‘99 LC, I added a low profile LED bar to the wind deflector.

In my daughter’s 2000 LX, I had the original starter replaced after 345k miles. Excellent mechanic did it for $200 labor. Clean and polished intake surfaces and replaced gaskets as well.

Had a set of LX wheels powder coated a Dark Metallic Gray. Need to get some work done before they get put on but I'm looking forward to the new set up. Tires are BFG 305/65/18

Just finished replacing shocks with tokicos and some OME 865 springs. Test drive over some speed bumps revealed a rear end cuurrrthunk sound has been cured. My 98 has 205k and these were what appeared to be the original shocks and springs
- rear top nut was 19mm
- rust belt status resulted in all four shocks being cut out at the top mount
- all said and done well worth $500 spent for a refreshed suspension
