Extreme close up of my passenger side steering arm. Red circles are cracks in the welds from previous repairs. Green circle is the one previous repair that hadn't cracked again yet. Time to follow Ted's lead and replace knuckles I guess. Driver's side had similar cracks, just not quite as bad.

Finished pulling the a440 and split case out of my 62 tonight. Still collecting parts for the h42 swap, but should have most everything in the next couple weeks.

I may start my own thread in here to ask some questions on things that hold me up. First time doing a manual swap.

Put my Prinsu rack on today, really love the way it looks. Christened it by taking a mattress to the dump. For a brief moment I contemplated incorporating it into some kind of poor man's RTT.

That is my favorite rack design. Looks awesome man. Wish I could have gotten in on the group buy for them.

After 5 months of it sitting in the garage, I finally got the bumper installed. I still have a few things to button up.

That is my favorite rack design. Looks awesome man. Wish I could have gotten in on the group buy for them.

I got mine before the group buy last year and even full price it's one of the most reasonable and well built full sized racks for the 80

I think I paid $775 before shipping

@ugamurph looks great. Any noticeable drop in the front from the additional weight?

Thanks, @htburnett.

@jynx Thanks! I meant to do a pre- & post-install measurement. It's not very noticeable, but I haven't put the flares back on yet. Once they're on, I'll try to compare photos to see if there is a marked difference. I will likely install heavier weight front springs sometime in the not too distant future.

Thanks for the deal, @radioridge.

Slightly different. GX is a rebadged 4th gen 4Runner. It is based on the 120 series Prado chassis. Motor is similar, but believe trans and case and most everything else is different than the hundy. I'm still learning myself, but believe that is correct.

@Tennessee80, I believe @jynx is correct.

I trimmed and reinstalled the flares yesterday. I also had to modify, relocate and reinstall the fender supports as well. Now it just needs a winch and some fog lights. Time to win another raffle prize. :hillbilly:

That's a good looking rig you got there @ugamurph

Look on Rough Country's website for a winch. They use to have a pretty good deal. I have one of there 9K on the front of my WJ (Jeep) with remote control.
