Nice! I'm fairly certain I'll be getting one soon, so I'll be watching for updates. Any idea how many of the tie downs you got? It seems like they they just grab a few handfuls of fittings and throw them in the bags.
Looks like 4 were included.

Installed my triple power point in the center console. Also ran the USB cable from the GPS and GoPro mount by my rear view mirror through the A pillar to the same spot. All electronics in one spot, no wires dangling in my field of view, and protected (hopefully) through a 40A inline fuse. Now the phone and other goodies can be stashed out of sight and behind a padlock while I'm surfing.

Are you putting in a lockbox from Wits' End?

Not anymore he's not :p

Yeah, after looking at the pic and seeing the outlets he can't. Or he could mount that inside the lockbox...

Did some degreasing. Engine, knuckles. Going to check torque on the steering arms Tomorrow.

Ran cleghorn with a local group, lots of fun. My buddy who is on his first ever "off-roading" trip drove my 80 up stuff a lot of FJ cruisers didn't want to try, it was funny.

He was grinning ear to ear and promptly asked me for a list of things to buy for his 80, hello landtank 4 inch lift, bumper, sliders...... His 80 is gonna be sick, because he already got a 6bt ready for swap.

I took my front fender flares off.
Getting ready to cut the fenders for the pursuit of more uptravel.

Define "cheap". My past companies use to get these made in the 1000s. There are places we dealt with that would do a "prototype" run but mainly because we used them for other production runs. I could check. Problem is I would need an engineering file first. Which of course means deciding on the components and getting the cad files for those to populate the board.
Yeah, that seems to be the hurdle, I don't have the means to develop the PCB layout.

Of course I could put all the components in a bag and sell it as a DIY kit, but then that's a far, far cry from a plug-n-play option.

If I lived in the US or Canada I'd prefer that option. But shipping and import duties here make it cost-prohibitive.

It should be here in a couple weeks. If I like it, I will start stocking these. The molded carpet for the 60 series is really nice. I have 60 series vinyl coming in as well.

--- 40, 55, 60, 70, 80 and 100 all available. (carpet and vinyl)

I'll PM you once it arrives to see if you're interested.

Jason

Looks like @LS1FJ40 will be getting the molded 80 vinyl kit!

Rebuilt my A442F transmission.
Upgraded the rear direct clutch to a six clutch pack and added a extreme valve body from wholesale automatics.
Added the torque converter lockup kit.

Learnt lessons on ATF and will now only use Toyota ATF. Gear changes are smooth.

Now the transmission can eventually handle the 1FZFE -Turbo

Who said daily? Once a week I fill with fuel, and while the pump runs, instead of pulling on my dick waiting for it, I check oil, inspect the engine compartment and clean the windshield.

I grew up working on antique farm equipment. It doesn't hurt a bit to develop maintenance habits. Probably why the vehicles I own last longer and require less repairs than my peers.

I'm perfectly fine not checking anything under the hood until it's time to do so by the book. It doesn't bother me that I can't drive past 200k miles without replacing the spark plugs, or that I don't use an air filter for the engine. It's just a car.
