Finished welding up my rack and sprayed primer on all the welds...I may try to fit tomorrow before finish painting....

Finished the passenger side swing out for the Yeti 45. I also put the tent back on for an upcoming trip.

Thanks you guys. Yeah it's funny I was originally looking for an ultra rare US Spec 4Runner "Toyota" license plate light holder, but ended up finding that JDM one that said Land Cruiser so there is no reason for people to call it a 4Runner. It happens to often.
 
Got it muddy as hell in a farmer's field.
 
Found the source of my ever-present vibrations. Twas a god damn bolt missing on the front diff yoke! Two of them, to be more specific. And the other two were half screwed off, too. Yeah, the vibrations were getting pretty nasty :)

Now it's like I got a new car! Yay..
 
I actually torqued the lug nuts for the front wheels. 76 lb-ft seems so low I had to do it at 78 and then I pushed some more past that point.

In the past I used a method known to me for ages. It does not require a torque wrench. I just step on the OEM wrench. BAM! 180 lb-ft no sweat.

What's funny is that I can hit on or near 76 ft/lbs on all four wheels, without a torque wrench. Last time I had it in the shop, I bet the guy who issues tools I could do it, and he came after me with a torque wrench and I was +/- 2 pounds on all four. One was bang on 76 lbs.
 
surprisingly nothing other than drive it around and pick up a new battery, nice break from the recent work on it. Did order another box-o-parts from @beno though...

I figure I'll save a few hundred pounds this way. Going to need to lock the CDL to get it moving, but once I'm up to speed, should be great. Eliminates the need to decide on 33's or 35's as well. I'll probably remove the rear eventually as well.
