At last getting to grips with the new brakes overall, front discs, pads, callipers, wheel bearings done. Rear stripped down and ready to reassemble.

Painted the stock wheels black since I was replacing the tires the next day...well stupid me did not allow the paint to dry enough before I had the tires put on so the wheels are all chipped up, luckily I was not a fan of the black look against the green/gunmental LX so I will/want to redo them in graphite...also note neglected Viper in the garage, I need to swap the rear end on it. Sadly the LX is getting it's rear end rebuilt first as it's the daily

Do you use a solvent to wipe the paint off the tires?
I didnt bother as I got new tires on the next day however it was peeling off so easily i bet that a simple pressure washer would have done the trick, it was coming off like plastidip
Pro tip: a deck of playing cards jammed between the wheel and the tire every couple inches will avoid overspray on the tires, makes it real easy to mask everything else off with newspaper or whatever you have handy.
